Hey...
I play the character Melcar Silverdragon. A male human 15wiz/5 arcane avatar.
Str: 13 Dex: 22 Con: 20 Int: 32 Wis: 20 Cha: 8
Hit points: 161 Saves: fort:18 ref:17 will:23 AC: 26
Feats: Combat casting, Improved Initiativ, Spellfire Wielder, Spellcasting Prodegy, Spell Penetration, Greater Spell penetration, Eshew Materials, Maximize spell, Still spell, Silent spell, Empower spell
SQ: Detect magic (sight), SR 15
Most Powerfull spell:
Melcar’s Balefire. Evocation Level: Sor/Wis 9 Components: V, S, M Casting Time: One round Range:Close (25ft. + 5ft./2 levels) Area: Line 2ft.x (25ft. + 5ft./2 levels) Duration: Instantaneous Saving Throw: Yes Spell Resistance: Yes
The power of this spell is so gigantic, that the very air around the caster tingles with magical power. Anyone in a 20ft. radius can feel the raw power of magic at work. Detect Magic shows magic flowing through and to the caster. When the caster starts to channel the spell, white golden and silver energy swirls around him, and gathers itself as a sphere between his hands. He then directs the power as a line towards his target. When this spell is unleashed, a flash of intence white light eminates from the caster, causing, a 20 ft. radius blast wave, knocking anyone smaller that large down(ref. DC 20). The line itself is a mix of the purest white light, gold and silver flames. It also shines with the same light effect as the spell Dayligt. Anything and anyone struck by the line is affected, And takes 6d6 points of damage per lvl of the caster half of which is fire damage. Max caster level 25. A succesful reflecs saving throw halves the damage. As a result of casting this powerful evocation, the caster suffers 2d6 points of damage per level, and is drained of his power making him unable to cast any spell in one rounds per level after. The damage and loss of spellpower cannot be evaded in any way.
If maximized, both damage to caster, and time unable to cast spells is maximized.
Material: A drop of blood from a dragon
Im currently hoping to become the magister, or a chosen of mystra, as we right now are doing quests enwolving the saving of the magister. |

hmmmm.....you play in Mystara |
When hinges creak in doorless chambers and strange and frightening sounds echo through the halls, whenever candlelights flicker where the air is deathly still, that is the time when ghosts are present, practicing their terror with ghoulish delight. |

A friend of mine is running us through the Moonsea adventures hardcover. Yep, I finally get to PLAY in the Realms, not some homebrew knockoff...
Anywayzzzz... I play Tolbin Rondilon, strongheart halfling male rogue1/fighter2, a two-weapon fighting, weapon finessed, knifefighter feat, dodge+mobility guy who worships Arvoreen, wishes to join the Knights of the North to kill more Zhents, and which will take the dervish PrC (CW) later on in the game... |

[EREVIS CALE TRILOGY SPOILERS]
I haven't PC'ed in a long time, but the character I'm currently NPC'ing has become so near and dear to my heart that he's like a PC to me. :D
Jaenus Underfoot is a Chosen of Mask, the Sixth of Five to be exact. He followed the legend of Jak Fleet all the way from the Moonshaes until he learned of "Little Man's" death on his arrival in Sembia. It was there that he linked up with a thieves' guild and the worship of the Shadowlord. Upon his final initiation rites, Mask came to Jaenus in a dream and told him that if he would be willing to insinuate himself into servitude under Shade Enclave, the god of thieves would "owe him one."
Never one to turn down a dare, the middle-aged halfling agreed and managed to find his way to the Anauroch, become captured by the Shadowvar and convince Hadrhune himself that he would be of use. They told him of the Tear of Karsus, a sliver of the Karsus Stone which broke off before Shar reclaimed it (due to a poorly-aimed dagger toss by Mask, supposedly). The shadowvar believed it was foretold that a Ghostwise Halfling called Amara would recover the Tear and bring the Enclave even further into Shar's favor. Before he could refuse, they forced Jaenus to undergo a geas wherein he would have to look after Amara until she achieved both the worship of Shar and the Tear of Karsus.
Rather than suffer a most hideous death via the geas, Jaenus looked after the poor girl in her strange homeland, protecting her from the shadows until she was old enough to venture into the world alone. After finally linking up with her and her friends many years later, Jaenus finally discovered a loophole in Hadrhune's plan.
Amara did indeed come to worship Shar, but then foresake her when the goddess demanded the murder of her friends. And once Amara found the Tear, she took it into her hand (literally) and was thus transformed into a Shade. The shades in the arrogance had assumed Jaenus would turn the Tear over upon its discovery, but the geas was broken, and no more demands could be placed upon him. Jaenus confessed that Mask would most likey prefer he kill her and take the stone as his own, but instead made her swear never to offer it up to the Shades.
His reward for the years of servitude to the Shades, all for Mask's designs (Mask TRULY didn't want to see them get a hold of the Tear...it just irked him, I suppose), was the boon of Chosen status.
He now looks after Amara and her friends like a teacher with his favorite class, adding in his two cents to guide them down better (if darker) paths from time to time. He is still wary that Amara might break her word, and keeps a contingency plan open should she try to give the Tear back to Shade Enclave.
Secretly, he desires to "pay the shoe-licking, dross-spitting shades back with a frosty mug o' their own blood" for his servitude, and is currently backing the party's attempt to destroy the Karsus Stone itself to put the Enclave out of commission for once and all.
And they say halflings can't do big things...:D |

My current character is Bur Kulenov, an Asimar of elven decent. He is also a devout follower of Tyr. His classes are Paladin 7/Cleric 1/Ordained Champion 2/Hospitaler 4. He is one of three leaders of a Triadic temple recently established in the Moonsea.

Well, since you asked...
Bur and his allies began their long quest after their Gnomish friend wanted to visit the temple of Gond in Melvaunt, an oddity due to it's leader being a human (in the Gnome's eyes, anyway). While there, they discovered plots of slaves being held illegally without being paid for. So, the group talked their way into a meeting with the slaves' keepers, and turned the tables on them to free them from their captors. While the captors couldn't do much legally because they were transporting slaves without paying the proper fees, they did eventually drive us out of Melvaunt.
While wondering the Moonsea, we ran across a long abandoned tower. Upon further inspection, we found an ancient artifact in the lower levels. Said artifact could produce mighty weapons. So, being the loyal servant he am, Bur reported the find to his superiors. They sent many acolytes of Tyr to secure and fortify the area, leaving myself and me allies to continue roaming the countryside.
Our party eventually found their way into Hillsfar, where, none of the party members being human, quickly ran afoul of the Red Plumes. After breaking out of the arena, we quickly found refuge, strangely enough, amongst the local Thayan Enclave. Together, the Red Wizards and our party, along with the local Wizard's Guild, a small contingent of Tyr's faithful, and Mordak Brelliar, Maalthiir's second in command, overthrew the First Lord and his Red Plumes.
After long sessions of negotiating, an accord was met amongst all groups involved. Mordak would assume command of the Red Plumes, and would be leader of the newly appointed Council of Hillsfar. The Thayan Enclave was given double the land they already possessed, as well as a voice on the Council and greatly expanded trade rights, so long as they continued to honour the previous "no slave" compact they had made with Maallthiir. The Wizard's Guild was given a seat on the Council, along with all the rights they had lost under Maalthiir's rule. The faithful of Tyr were given the rights to land, upon which a large temple was erected, as well as a the remaining seat upon the Council.
While tending to this temple, Bur's devotion swayed Airen to the call of Tyr. Bur also felt the call of temple life, and took upon more clerical duties. However, temple life did not last long, as we heard rumors of slavery and assassins in nearby Mulmaster.
After freeing the slaves and defeating the assassins, our party ran across a strange find; giants hurling fireballs. We followed up on this new threat to the region, leading us to a strange pillar and an even stranger dragon. Upon this encounter, our Gnome friend (whose name continually escapes me, both in and out of character) was able to parlay with the blue dragon. After regaling the dragon with our tales, he opted to join us. Firstly, to rid his lair of the giants infesting it, but afterwards Enthranos stayed with us for greater glory and treasure.
After ridding the Moonsea of the arcane giants, Bur received a divine dream from Tyr. Bur was instructed to redeem Scyllua Darkhope, a former Paladin of Tyr who had lost the faith when she perceived Tyr did not have the might to counter the wrongs perpetuated in the region. With a daring plot in mind, our band raided Zhentil Keep, and, thanks to the might of Enthranos (recently converted to the ways of the God of Justice, thank Tyr) we escaped with minimal losses.
Seeing anew the might of Tyr that had drawn her to the faith in the first place, Scyllua began the long process of atoning for her deeds. I am pleased to say that after years of good deeds, Scyllua is once again amongst the faithful of Tyr.
Fzoul, never forgetting the attack we made, built up his forces over time, and eventually laid siege to our power base in Hillsfar. It was only after he destroyed Tyr's temple that he was repelled. Calling in all of our markers, we assembled a mighty force, comprised of all members of the Triad's faithful. In addition, we worked with the Thayans (after long, arduous hours in discussion with the most foul but surprisingly courteous Zass Tam) and the Red Plumes.
Eventually, our combined might was too much for Fzoul, and after many long years, the Moonsea was free from the grasp of Zhentil Keep. We drove the Zhentarim to their mountain stronghold, the Citadel of the Raven. With Fzoul slain, Manshoon has once again assumed control of the Zhents (or so we're told), and has no inclination to war with us.
We have since rebuilt what was once Zhentil Keep, renaming it Triounus. A large temple dedicated to the Triad was erected, and is now run by Airen, a powerful Paladin in his own rite. The original Tyran temple in Hillsfar has been replaced with a sprawling cathedral of the Triad, dedicated to all those slain the battles with the Zhentarim, head by three priests, one each of Ilmater, Helm, and Tyr. Bur was recommended, and was granted the right to be the Tyran head priest.
The land remained relatively peacefully for ten years, however recently a new threat has arisen from the Moonsea itself. A tower comprised of the dead has risen out of the sea, and dead men slowly build themselves into a bridge towards the mainland. Our group, still in their prime thanks to our long lives granted by our lineage, rose once more to thwart this new evil. However, upon our first attack upon the citadel of the dead, we triggered long-standing magic, and found ourselves transported to a far-away land called Moil, a city populated by the damned... |

I have one character on the go and shortly starting another.
At our gaming club there's an irregular AD&D game and my character in that is Lady Min of Cryptgarden.
'Lady' is actually a misnomer, as up until our current adventure Min was merely a common street thief of Waterdeep. An extremely obsessed and food-obsessed thief that would forever be eating from satchels and pockets of food she had secreted around her person. But fate intervened and whilst she and some companions were investigating a series of abductions in the Cryptgarden Moutains she came across a Deck Of Many Things, which changed her life immeasurably.
Along with the castle that previously belonged to the bad guy (and she and her companions had just pretty much trashed), she also found herself in posession of a minor title of nobility and of pratically a whole new body (two of the side effects of the Deck was an increase in dex and cha). And a whole series of strange planar enemies, which our DM keeps referring to, even in other games and when we meet up in person, with a strange gleam in his eye and manacial cackling and which give both me and my character a strange and ominous sense of forboding.
My other character, which will be for the Expedition to Undermountain game starting soon, is a Mulani Cleric of Kossuth from Unther called "Arthur". Kudos if anyone can spot the reference.

My current character is sun elf who descended from a royal family in myth drannor (elven high mages) They actually came from a different sphere as my character discovered (when he was first level he was actually captured by the enemies of the previous campaign and taken to a outer plane/sphere) and after some experimentation and winning some gladatorial tournaments he was offered to serve the organization and retrieve an ancient artifact (books which when united could grant the user demigod power, and when used separately granted the user knowledge and power in their respective topic.) Needless to say as a wizard of that inexperience he needed to use his wits to survive and avoided conflict when possible, and use the environment to his advantage... now with more experience and vastly more powerfull, he is focusing on the mission of his life - reclaiming myth drannor, and ridding the forest of the drow pressence. As a descendent of myth drannor, he has extensively studied wild magic.
He is 5 wizard/10 wild mage/5 archmage. He has also just reached 21, and based on the book that he was able to find he qualifies for the Elven High Mage class, and he hopes to be able to go down the route of his ancestors. He has managed (with the help of a dmPC cleric) to reclaim the mage tower of his ancestors and some surrounding buildings. Working with the other elves in the area and reaching out to other elves (took leadership feat) he hopes to continue to expand his base of operations to one day reclaim the whole city.

[PDK pokes his head into Candlekeep briefly, sees that the discussions are still mostly about how crappy 4E is, and returns to Paizo's messageboards, confident that he missed nothing here -- read: that WotC has not retconned the whole 4$ Realmz fiasco yet...]
Hi folks, long time no see!
Just a quick word to let you all know that both my homecampaigns have fully switched to Pathfinder RPG rules (3.5 modified to make PHB/DMG Core classes keep up with the 3.5 Complete Books)
The PRPG barbarian and paladin are now really out of this world, and the fighter is now really interesting, no longer bland like the regular 3.5 version.
Check it out if you haven't... the PRPG Beta rules are free to download...

I'm currently playing a fey touched drow rogue/fighter/duelist called Misery (my namesake). Due to his fey nature he has ashen gray skin over ebony so can sometimes pass for a half drow to surface elves and star elves to those who don't know better (since they are rare). Given his fey heritage he also has purple streaks in his silvery white hair.
However, he never tries to hide himself in most situations. He doesn't wear armor or even a shirt despite any weather (ring of comfort helps there) and seems uninterested in most of life all together. He feels briefly alive when he fights (thus more then ready for any) but otherwise feels as if he's just dreaming or possibly already dead and waiting to wake up from whatever this life is.
Chaotic Neutral in alignment with evil tendencies at times. Wields a vampiric rapier he calls Sorrow.
Also, due to the fey nature of his blood, he never developed any of the innate drow abilities (basically he's statted as a normal elf when it comes to stat bonuses and such).
(We also have converted over to the core rules of Pathfinder while playing, though still using FR setting wise). |
... can I still be a bad A and like kittens? |

My current main character I have been playing for over 15 years in various campaigns. Yasraena T'sarran is her name. She is a chaotic/good drow fighter/mage that started off in the Rolemaster system as a 6th lvl Warrior Mage from Greyhawk and ended that campaign at 21st lvl. She was converted to 2nd Ed about 10 years ago to play in our current campaign in The Realms. She is currently(after too many adventures to list here) level 18/16 and living in a small tower on the outskirts of Silverymoon after being recruited into the northern chapter of the Harpers by Alustriel herself after helping save the city several times.
I admit, she was made in the image of Drizzt as I had just finished the Crystal Shard and Homeland and was hooked. I play her very similarly to him as far as life outlook and 'morals', with the main exceptions of she venerates Eilistraee, if not actually worshiping her; and she has found that sometimes in extreme situations, the end may very well justify the means, something that I think Drizzt would never succumb to. She has had to resort to torture to find out info that had hundreds of innocent lives hanging in the balance, and would do so again in a heartbeat under the same circumstances. It's a fine line, and she walks it with reluctance, but walks it all the same. |

I play a wild-elf loresinger (Bard) named (surprose!) Vangelor.
Raised in an isolated forest enclave, Vangelor was chosen by his tribal elders to learn of neighboring lands in anticipation of the failure of the age-old spells that hide the tribe's settlement.
Those he first approached took the opportunity to direct him toward Silverymoon, where he spent seven years enrolled at the House of the Harp, refining his own considerable musical gifts and acquiring at least a convincing facade of "civilization".
His historical studies have focussed principally upon Cormanthyr and especially the "golden age" of Myth Drannor - his sensibilities shaped in large part by the example of Silverymoon as a cultural succesor of Myth Drannor, as well as the subtle guidance of his tutors.
Travels have taken him to Waterdeep, Ardeep Wood, and Candlekeep along the Sword Coast, overseas to the Moonshae Isles, and to the Wealdath of Tethyr to meet with other green-elf tribes he heard word of there.
More recently, he has returned to Cormanthor, where he works to assist in the resettlement of Semberholme (Myth Drannor is not yet reclaimed in our campaign), acting as a sort of diplomat to neighboring states in paving a way for the Returning elves to reclaim their former domains.
Occasionally, the heavy burden of other's expectations on a young elf become insupportable, and he will then run off hunting in naught but his smallfurs with a knife and a spear until he feels ready to feign civilization again. |

I'm getting ready to play an 8th level Rogue in 4e. If it wasn't for the mutilation of wizards in this edition, I think I would really like the rules...if not the setting they gave us.
I'm going to try and get into a Neverwinter Nights 2 game on the Exodus server too...after the holiday season. I'm going to make a rogue there or a wizard. If I make a rogue, I'm going to make him either a dwarven or half-orc rogue. If I play a Wizard, he will be a human one; but I'm going to take feats so that he can use weapons. I don't want him to suffer death in Amn...which is where their server is set. The dwarf is top of the list right now: Lom, the Son of Drom. Vile little bugger I've played as an NPC before. He specializes in killing arcane casters. His services would be valued in Amn, even if he wasn't. |

I never get to play in the Realms, only DM. Our main DM runs a Mystara campaign set in Karameikos, although he will often import FR material. I bought him City of the Spider Queen and he ran it for us awhile back. We're going through The Red Hand of Doom now.
My character for the campaign is Belkar Nudjahb. I got the first name from the Sexy, Shoeless, God of War himself, of course, although my Belkar is not very like the original (he wears boots). The second name was a joke the DM threw out (nut-job), but I went with it. I decided that it actually means "disowned" in Dwarven. Belkar is estranged from his father due to a dispute over money. He dropped his family name, and took the name of Nudjahb as a dig at the old man.
Here's the Readers' Digest version of his background. Place names are from Mystara, but the basic idea is portable:
Belkar was born in the dwarven nation of Rockhome. His father's clan was mostly wealthy merchants, while his mother's clan could claim a number of great dwarven warriors and priests. She died when he was still young.
Along with a number of other dwarves, he and his father immigrated to the town of High Forge in Karameikos when he was in his early twenties. His father had arranged to marry into another wealthy clan. Belkar and his new mother did not get on well, and his difficulties with her soured his relationship with his father. He did his apprenticeship as a locksmith. When he came of age, he requested a sum of money that was supposed to have been put aside to set him up in business. His father refused to hand it over, claiming that Belkar was not suitably settled to be trusted with the money. They argued, and Belkar resolved to leave the clanhome and make his own way in the world.
I have a short story I wrote about his early adventuring days, but this is probably not the place to post it.

Laucian Lvl 20wiz 5 archmage
Human Nimbral (adapted 2nd ed template to a sub race human)
Laucian is one of my 3 favorite RP experiences and is my current one playing.
He started out as NE in the campaign. By a wierd twist of fate (aka Deck of Many Things) he got the change alignment card. Changed to NG he decided to stay with the two neutrals and one evil party, as he still wanted the power... he just did it in a nicer way (no one in the party knows and 3 out of the 5 don't personally know either). On one of his walks thru Waterdeep he stumbled into the Church of Mystra when he was following a bright magic aura. He was gospeled in her teachings and decided to begin his worship of the Lady.
He began he search for Nether scrolls to learn of the ancient ways of magic and has thus far found 5 (Arcanus Fundare, Arcanus Creare, and 3 meta magic ones (silent spell, still spell, and eschew componants [created by DM]) {removed the free level from the nether scrolls}
He then gave the scrolls away to random people throughout the realms to spread the knowledge of magic along with one major wonderous item to the 5 individuals he came across. This impressed Mystra so much that she came with the gift of Chosen status which he politly declined. (This made the DM have to take a break as he has never had a PC refuse anything that was such a benifit to anyone.) His reasoning, he has too much to do then be a target for additional enemies.
After that he began researching the Epic spell "Proctov's Move Mountain" (Adding additional factors to reduce the DC one of whiched burns an entire epic spellcasting slot permanently) after successfully casting he began his construction of the city, with the help of the other party members funeling their resources as well (hee hee, I am a good manipulator )
With the construction complete and resources dry he began his advertisment campaign to get people to immigrate to his "country."
He got himself an apprentice (currently lvl 12 wiz) and left him in charge to run the day to day as the rogue (worshipper of Mask) recieved a vision to steal the Shadow Cloak from a major temple of Shar's. After stealing the Cloak (which Mask only used as a test of the rogues skills.) Currently we are exploring the outer planes in search of some more resources. He has currently designed several new spells which has garnered the attention of the Order of the Book and dealing with them. After refusing to give up his spells to some stupid spell book that will never be done and then publicly mocked their work they have begun to attack, even to the point of hiring the Garrote to kill us.
The Cleric of Bane has decided to personally take on the Order. After trying to kill I decided that I would help... plus, think of what the book itself would do for the advancement of Magic in the realms... plus all of the scrolls that still needed to be scribe.
So we decided that best thing first was to get me into the Order. After a long talk with the head wizard (not the Demi Lich) he gave up one of his new spells as a gesture to get in. This is where we are currently at. I am working the intrigue angle to get into higher positions. The Cleric had petitioned Bane for "proof" to join the Godkissed in the hopes of recruitment for an assault. The rogue and the Ranger has joined the Gleaners to hunt for artifacts to use with the fight. That is where we are currently at in the campaign.
I am currently an assistant to a leader of a spell finding task force The Cleric has gathers only a few actual godkissed (and succesfully turned them to Bane worship) but several lesser followers.
The Rogue and Ranger have found some artifacts but none of which are able to help. But do to their tireless work (and our help of course ) they have moved up in rank as well. |

Started a new campaign (hopefully) recently and trying out 4th ed crunch combined with 3.x realms in good olde Cormyr :)
So my wizard, Mearyll Theridor, better known by the name "Rabe" (which is german for raven) since she's a "troubleshooter" and avoids her real name like the plague, is still 4th level and quite a youngster.
Being the sole child of a buerocrat and a Purple Dragon, Mearyll was educated in a surrounding of deep loyalty to kingdom and crown. However, when she grew up she became more and more fascinated of her grandfather's tales of magic, whom, being an old war wizard in retirement, started to teach the young girl some "Art". Slowly ralizing that the path of magic would be more hers to take than that of a knight, Mearyll continued studying magic with her grandfather in Immersea. The foolish arrogance of the noble houses there was abhorrent for the girl who loved devotion to Cormyr and the simple joy of Mystra's art. Still she managed to summon her familiar(at this point I love 4th ed fluff), a raven called Kay, at the age of 20. The situation grew worse when she started to develop a relationship with a travelling nobleman who was quite a celebrity amongst the local girls. The man being a known gigolo, Mearyll was proud and happy that he seemed to truely have feelings for her. But this was just decoy. After realizing that the girl was able to do some magic, he used her for helping in his intrigues. In the end she supported him, not knowing that he was affiliated with some Sembian merchants, and betrayed that what she was devoted to most. After his work was done, he let her fall like a hot stone and left.
Being ashamed of her doings and not able to proof the man's crimes, Mearyll decided then to leave Immersea and try to find her luck on the road. Neither did she want to become a war wizard after all that nor did she feel that direct servitude could be her way of supporting Cormyr.
Mearyll is a thin, pale woman (Str 8 speaking for itself ;) ) with blue eyes and raven-black hair. She's wearing a grey, large-hodded cloak almost everyday. When she's speaking she seems to be annoyed or ennervated all the time, though there doesn't seem to be any cause for this. She doesn't speak about her true name or her ability to use the Art, though she deeply enjoys practicing and is faithful to Mystra, for she fears she might be "abused" again. Kay, her raven, is part of her personality and the one who wants to let go of her hiding. She's arguing a lot with Mearyll and speaks her mind directly
currently, she and the reast of the party (a dwarven fighter, an eladrin wizard from Cormanthor and a paladin of Tyr with some strage accent) are investigeting an orcish raid on a small town |
It is all just a past and future secret

Poor thing--I hope she listens to the raven. |

Ha! You and my hubby would get along great! He has one, too!
I'm playing a CG drow bard 8/dervish 4. He sings, he dances, and yes, he makes french fries out of orcs!! (I also came up with an alternate version with a homebrew class called a battledancer that mixes some bard and swashbuckler abilities with the dervish and vertuoso.)
His name is Lothir E'Terrin'dar, and he is from my own homemade campaign world (sadly, no one I know does FR.) He is the only legitimate heir to the "king" of the drow nation in my world, who went AWOL after his father discovered that Lothir had become romantically involved with his favorite grey elf harem slave, and had his mother sacrifice the woman. This was after a long string of atrocities he witnessed/endured, and the young "prince" finally had enough and headed for the mainland- the drow "kingdom" in my world is on and beneath a group of large islands, and leans heavily toward piracy. It is also devided in power structure between the old guard Matrons, and "King" Aldan's force of male-dominated Houses, which makes for a complicated society. Lothir is shy at first, and sometimes timid around those he doesn't know well. He is a pacifist worshipper of Eilistraee. He hates killing except in dire need, and his greatest love is music and dancing- not a very drow-like pursuit, which is one reason why he left home. He fights only if there is no other way, but is utterly fearless in battle due to the strange euphoria of his battledance as he calls it. He is prone to playing pranks on occasion, usually against those he thinks are too uptight or snobbish. He hates or mistrusts most other drow, and is very flirtatious around women of nearly any race. He has an intense hatred for his family, including his older half-sister Morganna (who is another of my PC's), becuase of the death of his first love, the slave Ravyn, who also happened to be Morganna's mother. Yes, it's a very bizaar family- he unknowingly fathered twin children with Ravyn, which is how his father found out. Aldan had Lothir's mother use a spell to determine the father after he realized he'd been out at sea when Ravyn concieved. The infants were not yet born when she was killed. He has a habit of disguising himself as a human using his magic, to prevent others from attacking him on sight. He's very fun to play, especially when using the "Blue Magic" he occasionally enjoys playing with (see the D20 book Nymphology- it's hilarious!)

Personal Info: Curudin Ahmaquissar is the leading cleric of Erevan Ilesere in Silverymoon and Everlund and master of the secret elven Rogues guild known as "The Rogues of the Laughing Twilight" in the same cities. He is known throughout the city as "The Mischiefmaker of Silverymoon" but none know that he is also the leader of the elven thieves guild. Curudin is extremely handsome even in the eyes of other elves. He is quick, witty, clever, charming, intelligent, alluring and has a completely chaotic disposition on life.
He is a hedonist in every sense of the word and thoroughly enjoys debauching others. He hardly ever has his eyes shut. Quick to laugh and even quicker to prank and trick everyone and anyone from the very powerful to the poor. He is very good in melee combat and has a tremendous amount of luck on his side. It is said by other elves who meet him that he is highly favored by his god Erevan, as his eyes gleam with otherworldly asymmetrical stars whenever he dons a sardonic grin or wry smile. Curudin is the consummate trickster, and the perfect, living mortal example of mischief incarnate! Change and excitement are the spices of his life, and he is always trying to reinvent himself and others, playing pranks that both amuse and enlighten. He has been blessed a special and rare gift from Erevan Ilesere and is known as Trickster-Touched.
Curudin has never been caught at anything involving thievery, pranking, tricking, games, wenching, scouting, shadowing, hiding, etc... etc... He runs the Midnight Gambol of Erevan every month and invites all who happen upon it. He is wild, mischievous, independent, and utterly unpredictable, playing pranks on others for the sheer joy of it, and can be found deep in sylvan glades among the fun-loving subjects of the Seelie Court.
In the city of Silverymoon and Everlund his guild of elven rogues steal only from other thieves and give back to the proper owners half of what was initially stolen from them. They run out of town those thieves, and will even fight other rogues who try to set up shop in the city. So far they have never failed. He owns 3 taverns in Silverymoon. One is for elves only, another is for mixed crowds, and the last is a brothel which fronts as a winery. Curudin is known by Alustriel Silverhand and others of high rank in the city, but leave him alone for the most part for his efforts to run out other thieves entering the city. His tricks and pranks on the other hand push all who encounter him to the very edge of sanity and reason... even becoming violent! But not a single person can point a finger directly at him for anything linking him to these pranks and tricks.
He is also a well known adventurer and hero in the northlands, having spent most his life so far in absolute danger and peril. He is never one to be scared or frightened and usually laughs in the place of fear. His career has a long list of very worthy accomplishments, including stealing from Fzoul Chembryl, Semmemmon, The Vampire manshoon, Storm Silverhand, Mintipur Moonsilver, Alustriel Silverhand, Mirt the Moneylender, and countless other kings, warlords and the like. All of them have never been able to catch him as of yet.
He is most famous, or infamous, for his risky and daring thefts of other churches, temples and faiths, including those of Bane, Shar, Tyr, Helm, Talona, Auril, Mask, Torm, Grazz't, Beshabba, Tymora and others. Just recently (1374-75) he was hired by Khelben Arunsun and The Moonstars to go on a extremely difficult mission to sneak into Shade Enclave and steal a item of invaluable price and power from the city of Shade and its leaders. The mission was successful and the item was stolen and laid into the hands of Khelben, but not without its losses. Curudin, being a Divine deciple of Erevan Ilesere couldn't help but play a wicked deadly trick on Prince Clariburnus and Prince Yder before making his daring escape in which he lost his prized dice almost at the cost of his life!
And to add to all this... as well as he is known, he is also just as unknown it seems, and he prefers to keep it that way as long as possible. He is quick to laugh and has a very healthy sense of humor... sometimes light and frivolous, and other times dark and sardonic.
As of 1375 he has been seen moving between Silverymoon and Waterdeep, and has been spotted spending a great deal of time with Elaith "the serpent" Craulnober and Fox-at-Twilight as of late. Last night, Khelben Arunsun, having seen them at the Hidden Dagger tavern, quietly said to himself that Elaith would do well to frequently check his belongings, and to never underestimate the chaotic power of a wicked Prank or Trick; Especially one performed by Curudin Ahmaquissar!!
Here's the guild members in short... "The Rogues of the laughing Twilight[/i]"
Curudin Ahmaquissar: Male Moon elf (stats above)
Laeirlefain Starleaf: Male Copper elf, Rogue 5/ Swashbuckler 8/ Combat Trickster 3

Terrindill Shaelarra: Male Gold elf, Rogue 6/ Shadowdancer 6 (Shadow walker template)
Cepheus Nightsong: Male Star elf, Bard 16/ Uncanny Trickster 1
Shen-Shen Lhundlar: Female Gold half elf, Rogue 5/ Infiltrator 10

Filanelendil Winterbough: Male Copper elf: Rogue 7/ Tempest 5/ Temple Raider of Erevan Ilesere 3
Pheyloo Winterbough[/b]: Male Copper elf: Rogue 5/ Master Thrower 5/ Assassin 5
All are followers of Erevan Ilesere and are very devoted to each other, mischief and the city of Silverymoon and Everlund. Their pranks range anywhere from making livestock talk, giving a bad stench to someone, turning somebody the colors of Erevan, freezing the bath water of a noble while they were bathing, animating objects to dance and sing, subtly cutting the belt of a warrior so it falls when they reach for their weapon, turning a persons wine or ale into milk or sand, Altering the appearance of someone to look like a Satyr, casting a spell to make a Bard sound like a bugbear, etc... etc.. But also, they are called upon to search and locate ancient elven artifacts and treasures long lost before falling into the wrong hands. And if powerful elven artifacts do fall into the wrong hands then they are also called upon to act as elven assassins to search, find and destroy these wizards and sorcerers who would weild the ancient elven magic. But keep in mind, they do so their own way, on their own terms, for their own reasons, which always lead back to Erevan Ilesere, and the ways of his dogma. As of early 1375 they are in the employment of Khelben Arunsun and working with the Moonstars towards major events soon to come in the year. They have found "The Shattering Swords of Coronal Ynloeth" along with his Bracer, as well as The ancient Dwarven weapon "Twinblades Alight". |
