I am going to DM with a group of me and 3 other people, and we're starting D&D from scratch.
We are looking for a module for us to start with, I'm hoping someone overhere as an idea.

Well, if you're playing 3.0/3.5 at first level:

First thought is the Sunless Citadel, next is Evil Unearthed from Dungeon 82, followed by Playing with Fire in the same issue. There are a few 3rd party adventures that fit the bill, although I can't recall all the names at the moment.

The biggest question I have is what level are you starting at?

I'm sorry, I should have been more specific
We are playing edition 3.5 and we're starting at 1st level.

If I knew more about the game I could pick an adventure myself, but we don't reall have a clue on what we're doing yet

I like Barrows of the Forgotten King (D1), it's part of a chain of adventures; The Sinister Spire (D2), and Fortress of the Yuan-Ti (D3). So once they finish it, you'll have 2 more adventures to run that link into it. I don't think there's any adventures coming after that so you'll be free to go as you please from there.

On the flip side, if you can find it, I'm loving the new Pathfinder adventure by Paizo (the makers of Dragon and Dungeon magazines.) It's a great adventure in a fresh campaign setting, definitely worth checking out. :)

Speaking of Paizo, here is a link to the free PDF version of Hollow's Last Hope which is an introductory level adventure:

They also have Crown of the Kobold King, which is an introductory adventure as well, but its not free:

The Paizo adventure paths are great, but they are probably a little tough for new players... There are some good freebie adventures on the WotC site. A Dark and Stormy Knight and The Burning Plague get good reviews for 1st-2nd level characters.

If you're playing in the Realms, the Haunted Halls of Eveningstar by none other than Ed is a good, solid "campaign starter."

You know, before 4th edition was announced, I was kind of hoping that the Haunted Halls would get the "Expedition to" treatment.

And, with a little good efort, converting some little things to the 3rd edition, Doom of Daggerdale is a good starting, too.

Dwarf, DM, husband, and proud of this! :P

I don't think they quite rate an Expedition sized book, but they certainly deserve an update.

Hmm, what would an updated Haunted Halls need? Just new monster and trap stats, with the lore remaining the same (mostly, except for any changes post Devil Dragon to Eveningstar)

The half the book that was cut to make FRQ1. "Irongard" as a bonus. More on Whisper and his Crypt. Guidance on campaigning in the Stonelands.

The again, with the horrible "delve" format the source material need not be extensive to fill such a product. Maybe it should be called the "padding" format...?

I really sincerely hope we see a proper introductory product for FR4E that shows what it really means to run an adventure in FR with FR flavour for 1st level characters... and not linked to some silly novels.

I also really like Raiders of Galath's Roost in Dungeon 84 (?). It's got drow, Zhentarim and portals. What's not to like? ;)
