Greetings all here at Candlekeep
I just got a call form a friend who said that he would be willing to make t-shirts with Candlkeep logo so we all can regencies each other fore the next many Gencon there will be in the further. But before I start I would like to here you all, if you think this is a good idear, and I would like to know if I can do this without breaking any rules here.
If it’s okay I would like to know what kinds of logo and images there should be on the t-shirt.
Ps: I am not trying to get any profit out of this, but until now I have only heard people talk of this idear.
Vic.

Can I see one of THOSE in a Candleeep shirt - just the shirt mind you.
This way I can enjoy two of my favorite 'hobbies' together.
The CK logo is an obviuous choice, but what about that B&W pic of CK from the 2e Grand Tour of the Realms (pg.88)? Of course, the pic would need to be cleaned-up a bit, but I really like that 'dark and lonely' feel. |

So we're a bunch of Eilistraee worshippers now?
I suppose we could have had a worse 'patron'... |

Now I HAVE TO make the next Gen Con.
The only problem is, how will you recognize everyone to give them a shirt, BEFORE you give them a shirt? |

No problem, imagine a big ball big man walking around with a big flag where it says free t-shirt fore Candle keep members
I don’t know where I read a introduction to Candlekeep, here on this site but I were thinking off printing that text on the back of the t-shirt.
Just an idear.
Mod edit: corrected a typo that formed a profane word.

If I wrote the word here I would think that you are going to edit the texts
Can you direct me to the introduction to Candlekeep, I read it on a scroll here

Perhaps the first paragraph or two, and then add the "..." and have after it
- Ed Greenwood.
Then we can all get Ed to actually SIGN his name below the print. |

| I think too much text will take away from the look of the shirt. I propose we use the existing CandleKeep logo , or come up with a new graphic for a shirt. I would definitely like to own such a shirt. I will work on putting something together as a suggestion and put one of my very graphic design capable buds, who is a huge Realms fan to the task as well. |

You wanted to see the Candlekeep logo on it?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y178/MarkusTay/T-shirt_Mark.jpg
I wanted to do a 'ghostly' image of the keep behind it - the pic from the 2e CS, but my scanning capabilites are rather limited at the moment (I'm having major driver issues). |

Drop me a line with your email addy. I've got the pdf of the 2E FRCS, and I just used the full version of Adobe to extract all the images -- including the pic of Candlekeep that you're referring to. So I can easily email that to you, and you don't have to worry about your scanner. |

Even though I have nothing of value to add to this topic, I still wanted to let you know that I follow this "project" very closely, and with keen interest.
Keep up the flow of ideas, my fellow scribes. Keep it up!

I didn't know what font was used, so I just pasted the lettering on the bottom. Also, I think it might have looked too cluttered, so perhaps putting the website info at the top of the back might be better.

Looks good but the text needs condensing..
ie:
Front:
LOGO
The Library of Forgotten Realms Lore
Back:
Candlekeep.com
"There are many libraries in Faerûn, some of them vast and impressive - But there is only one Candlekeep!"
Just my thoughts oh and as I really want one of these as and when they start printing let me know I will PAY for one to be shipped to blighty!!
