Updated.

Does someone have an idea about another way to post these 600 and some taverns ?
I mean that the first post is very... long and uneasy to read & use.
A Word or Pdf file within the website ? a link in this first post to such a file ?

And,
Thanks to readers and posters for helping to build this directory !

No, no, no, sorry! "Eraré Sabban; Badjit Drudach" is not the owner/s, but rather part of the address. This specific festhall can be found in Badjit Drudach, in Eraré Sabban, in Hook Ward. I quote: "The next major division of Calimport is by sabban, an enclosed district or neighborhood." A ward is subdivided into a couple of sabbans, which are in turn subdivided into drudachs.

The list is missing the "Blisterfoot Inn", which is in Cormyr on Calantar´s Way, the road between Arabel and Immersea. The Blisterfoot is described in "Volo´s Guide to Cormyr" p. 129-34.

Sounds like an apt name for a roadside inn.

The Blisterfoot Inn capitalizes, as the name suggests, on weary travelers and caravans running north-south between the Dragonmere coast and Arabel. The Blisterfoot Inn, the brainchild of its owner, Buer Eltegar, has grown into a complex of businesses, which includes a small tavern called, rather unflatteringly, "the Wizards Pit" ("Volo's Guide to Cormyr" p. 134).

Thanks Rolo.
Excuse-me but I did not understand what is the source where you found this tavern. You created it ?
Our directory only gather official data about taverns and inns.
If this establishment was met in an official sourcebook, just add which one and I will add it to the list.
Read you soon.

Fillow,

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear. Yes. This is my own creation.

It's tavern popular with cutthroats, smugglers, slavers and dealers in illegal goods & services.

It's rough even by Skullport standards so I tend to load it with bad food, worse liquor and very mean and capable NPCs in case the players get froggy.

There's even secret passages that lead to slave auctions and a gladiator arena.

I know it ain't official, but I really like the place and I have no problem whatsoever if people want to use it in their campaigns.

No probs Rollo.

I updated the list with the addition of The Sleeping Dragon, a tavern from Hulburg and seen in Swordmage.

Hi our beloved Rinonalyrna !
I make a mistake or we did not have hono(u)r to read you for several days ? I feel I've been missing you !

I read in Swordmage there was a taphouse in Hulburg, named The Troll and the Tankard (p.42).
But I wonder what is a taphouse ! a sort of tavern ? a dive ?

Thanks a lot.

I've missed you too! Thing is, this forum was having technical difficulties to the point where I could not post here.

Glad to see they are fixed...at least for now.

Yes, "taphouse" is another name for a tavern. It refers to the fact that alcohol is extracted from kegs or casks by using a tap.

Thanks Pasta Fzoul.

So the Troll & the Tankard joined the list.

634 official taverns and inns of the Realms are named.

Is it unseful to specify the date when the source quotes the name of a tavern ?
I explain. About the two last ones, those in Hulburg, They exist in year 1477 DR but I do not know if they existed in the XIV° century.

Fellow Scribes, do you feel it's important to specify the year ?
