Hi.
I'm looking for some information about travelling between Waterdeep and Maztica (specifically New Waterdeep) in the year 1375DR.
What is the distance between Waterdeep and Maztica as the crow flies? I'm just thinking this for purposes of Teleport more than anything else.
How long (on average) would it take a ship to sail TO Maztica from Waterdeep? And how long would it take to return? Obviously this would be subject to weather and so forth, but on average...
Any ideas, you super sages, you?

According to Maztica, it took the Falcon 39 days out of Murann to sight land. One could easily add a week to that for a voyage from Waterdeep to the same spot, which (from what I can tell) is the chain of islands called the Green Sisters. As the crow flies, they're about 2,750 miles from Waterdeep. I got the mileage from the CC2 FR Atlas. You can download Maztica free from WotC here.

| My memory's not the greatest, but I think I put travel distances in the LANDS OF INTRIGUE box from Amn/Tethyr to Maztica and/or details on Waterdhavians traveling there, so it could be extrapolated from that source. |
