There was also the "Blood and Fire" adventure from DUNGEON #63 that featured the Brotherhood of True Flame. I don't immediately recall there being much more than that...

Is this not the name of the cult of Zakharas fire worshipers, or am I mixing names here? I don't know the magazines you or Sage are referring to, so I cant check if there are similarities.

THe Brotherhood of True Flame is an organization of Fire Elementalists based in Zakhaha, the Land of Fate. The Flamedeath Fellowship is a band of Holy Slayers closely affiliated to and supervised by the Brotherhood. Parts and members of the organisation are described in various 2nd edition Al-Qadim supplements (all available as paid downloads from Paizo and RPGnow). A succinct global overview is featured in the Land of Fate boxed set (p. 31 of the Fortunes and Fates book. A bit more global information was added in The Complete Sha'Ir's Handbook. A Brotherhood stronghold was the focus of "The Weeping Desert", one of the scenarios in A Dozen and One Adventures.

The official product line never features a systematic write-up of the Brotherhood's leadership. Land of Fate lists a Fire Elementalist known as "Bonfire" (no definite stats given, merely "presumed" 20th Fire Elementalist). The various Al-Qadim supplements are full of evil NPCs listed as "members". Basically, the Brotherhood of True Flame were the stock villains of Zakhara, sort of the Zhentarim and the Red Wizards of Thay rolled into one Big Bad Brotherhood. Whenever a villain had to belong to a larger organisation, the Brotherhood of True Flame was usually first choice.

NB: In my campaign, I created a common ancestry between the Red Wizards of Thay and the Brotherhood, based on the Red Wizards' prediliction for fire-based spells. I never quite decided what exactly the links were - I have fluctuated between merely common ancestry (the Brotherhood was created by rebels who moved south instead of joining the Thayvian uprising) to active collaboration (the Brotherhood set up by ambitious Red Wizards in the hope of one day attacking Mulhorand from the south).

Hope this helps.

There could also be ties between the two groups through the faith of Kossuth, as they both have ties to the more destructive elements of that faith. Or they could be tied jointly by some plot of the Lost God of the Yak-men from their bases in the Yehimal.
