Is there a list anywhere of articles appearing in Dragon, Dungeon, and Polyhedron Magazines regarding specific Forgotten Realms locations? I'm basically on a quest to find every bit of lore that exists on Amn, Tethyr and Calimshan.

There are an odd couple, as I recall. I can't remember any of the article titles off-hand though.
Use the source Wooly provided above. That should be enough to put you on the right track.

There's:
"Elminster’s Guide to the Realms: Jongrath’s Mill", Ed Greenwood, Dragon #304 "Cities of the Realms: Crimmor: City of Caravans", Ed Greenwood, Dragon #334 "Sleep of Ages", Eric L. Boyd, Dungeon #69
at least, and many more small references. |

But every single mention or reference to Amn and Tethyr BEFORE 1996 got acknowledged and placed into LANDS OF INTRIGUE. I promise. That's why I had so many people to thank--the good folk on the net tracked down every bit of lore so I could spend more time weaving it together and taking care of the discontinuities.
Calimshan was not as well covered in EMPIRES OF THE SHINING SEA both due to time and the fact that so many people just made off-hand references to Calimshan that it was impossible to track everything ever said in the Realms about it by 1997.
Most likely, the only things out there beyond the boxes are homebrew developments and expansions of Erlkazar. |
