Where is Eltab? (I wanna say Impultur) What is he doing? I would check my Champions of Ruin book but it is out of reach at the moment.

I think Eltab is in southwestern Impiltur at the Citadel of Conjurers. |

See George Krashos article on Impiltur in Dragon #346. Page number 62. It is feared that Eltab has returned here, but as far as I know it is not confirmed. |

I checked my copy of Champions of Ruin and it does indeed say Eltab has made the Citadel of Conjurers his new lair. As to what he is up to, it says he is now free to plot his vengeance against his many enemies which include the Red Wizards, the Witches of Rashemen, and the princes of Impiltur among others. After revenge it says his chief goal is to build a powerful empire in the east part of Faerun and eventually take back his throne in the abyss. Hope this helps. |

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

"Paladine, you see the evil that surrounds me! You have been witness to the calamities that have been the scourge of Krynn... You must see now that this doctrine of balance will not work! I can sweep evil from this land. Destroy the ogre races. Bring the wayward humans into line! Find new homelands far away for the dwarves and the kender and the gnomes, those races not of your creation... I demand that you give me, too, the power to drive away the shadows of evil that darken the land!"- THE REIGN OF ISTAR, Tales IV |
