Aye. For what it's worth, I always thought that was the case. I've sometimes speculated that a particular fragment of Bane's personality found a way to secret itself away during the Tyrantfog -- intent on it being the ONLY Banelich left afterward. Kinda like the classic clash between the Doombots in the old Fantastic Four after Doom's second apparent death, where the one remaining Doombot left standing was the copy who managed to successfully hide itself away while they other Doombots fought and quickly destroyed each other, or where destroyed by external forces.
