                      | Christopher Lindsay worked on Complete Psionic... so I thought he was new to WotC (since that was recent compared to complete warrior etc) anyway
i think he worked on early d&d adventures right? that was before my time

Wizard's First Rule: Chapter 36, Page #397, US Hard Cover (revealed by Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander).
Explanation by Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander: "People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool."

                      | Christopher Lindsay, I am not familiar with... But Eric Boyd and Ed Greenwood? Oh yeah! If it wasn't already, that factoid alone would put it on my "rush out on my lunch break to buy it the day it comes out" list. |

                      | With all the classic modules being updated (Ravenloft, soon Castle Greyhawk), it's good to see Undermountain getting the mega-adventure treatment. This format presents a good way to revisit places that might otherwise be ignored. Makes me wonder what else is next. |

                      | Hmmm... I wonder whether this was the "something big" the Lady THO just mentioned Ed was working on in his scroll?
Regardless, I'm ecstatic to hear this. And while I would've preferred it to be under the FR logo -- Ed's and Eric's input is sure to make it as relevant to the Realms as is possible, given that it is described as a "D&D Adventure Supplement".

                      | I think that the "Expedition to" format takes precedence, just like how they made Races of Eberron a "core" styled book even though it was clearly about Eberron. Or even like the old 2nd edition "Dungeon Crawl" series, which included the UnderMountain adventures as well as one non-FR adventure (if I remember correctly). |

                      | I would have prefered Boyd, Greenwood and Schend but.. we can't have all we want..
*cross his fingers* to have the "upper part" of Undermoutain included.

                      | No doubt Steven will get to have some input - at least indirectly. There are after all his copious notes on the drow of Undermountain which his Dungeon Crawl adventures there only hinted at.

                      | Great news! Undermountain - the place to be and - for adventurers - to die. I can't wait to go there............
Thanks in advance to the dedicated authors for their combined efforts to bring us into Undermountain once again.

                      | I bet they aren't, Mace (for II, any more than it was already).
How many pages does $44 buy you now? Good move going for the big size, if the Chapters entry is accurate (unlike the title and dimensions).

 Hello-

Keep in mind that that is $44 Canadian. I'm not sure what the exchange is, but I would expect the US$ to be 30, or 34, thus making it more the standard harcover format size, by my guess.

                      | I actually didn't register that -- long day. Even though the Canadian dollar is now only about 10% below the US$, $44 does seem to be the standard size. |

                      | Well, the Table of Contents for the Ravenloft book has it going over 220 pages, so im guessing its 224 in total, rather then the 160 Amazon's listing.
Cant be 100% sure, seeing as I dont own it. Yet.. heh.

                      | Total page count is 224. However the last page numbered in the book is 221 which is player handouts. The last 3 pages are just fillers, product checklist, Dragon Ante ad, and D&D ad. |
                      | I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be.

                      | Expect the Undermountain tome to be over 200 pages, too. Ed hasn't said one word to me about this, but one of my spies in the industry tells me someone has been whispering at Hasbro. Remember, if it was Ed doing a "proper Ed job," 250 or so pages wouldn't even cover just the level right under the Yawning Portal. So I suspect it's going to be covering a lot more, a lot more lightly. Which still means a "must buy" for THIS girl.

Edit: They're missing an author in that entry. Who? Well, does "Hungry Little Monsters" ring any bells?

Ask Ed if it's to late to do some suggestions on what should be covered.
