I'm starting a new game saturday in the Shining South of the realms. It takes the players into the Akhular Swamp in the first part of the story. Does anyone have a map or something for the interior of the swamp. Usually I'd just make my own if it's too hard to find onbe but here it is thursday and it's been a busy week (who says SAHM do nothing we plan for games damnit lol) and I don't have crap for a map of any kind. Yeah it's mostly for my own benifit but I like to have something so atleast I know where they are going even if they don't. Can anyone help me out?

The only places you could look, that I recall, are the two Shining South sourcebooks and Elaine's trilogy.

The Magehound by Elaine Cunningham
The Floodgate by Elaine Cunningham
The Wizardwar by Elaine Cunningham

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I can't remember if the Councelors and Kings novel series have maps in their inside cover...and if the maps have the Akhular Swamp in them

I couldn't either and I'm not sure where my set of novels is stored in my book cases since I got 5 rows of FR novels front to back and stacked on top of each other, so I didn't hunt for the trilogy.

Both Shining South tomes and Elaine novels only have maps showing the position of Akhlaur Swamp in Halruaa.

However, the two sourcebooks and the novels (somewhat) go into detail about what the interior of the swamp is like and how it looks. You'll likely have to base a map for the Swamp on those descriptions.

They do, as I noted above. The three maps in each novel are virtually the same.
