Please dont read if you dont like spoilers:

Hellow good scribes, I'm halfway through Swords of Eveningstar right now, and Im curious if its having the same effect on everyone else as it is I. I think this is the BEST realms novel I've ever read! Its amazing thinking that this is based on actual gaming experience, the characters are interesting and just so..."real". I love the little things Ed inserted in, like the impatience of the other characters while the rogue searches for traps every few feet, and the scene where Jhessail (whom Im going to boldly guess is THO's character) triumphantly blasts a rabbit. Its fantastic and by far the best of all of Ed's work. I find myself thinking of the book at work and have to force myself to only read the thing a bit everyday, to preserve it!

Mod Edit: Just placed the SPOILER tag in the scroll's title

I think it really breaks out of the common Realms literary style. It is unique in its representation and typical Greenwood gold. I loved this book. I can't wait for the others.

Greenwood always makes me smile. His style is awesome. The right mix of humor and an indescribable way of suspending disbelief.

Also, as is usual for Mr. Greenwood, things take off on a tangent that somtimes is a bit confusing. Leaves me wondering a bit. I can't help but to think he might be a few into the cups while writing or maybe He's borrowed Elminster's pipe.

Speculation of course. :P

I enjoyed the book much. I'll be looking forward to his next release.
