Yeah, I like medieval weapons. I have a couple of swords at home myself (hanging on the wall). They're all show weapons, but I guess some could be used to hurt someone (I have no desire to do so, so don't worry). I would still like to get a spear, a long bow and perhaps a axe or something. Oh, and a katana would be a good choice too I guess. Haven't got one of those either. |

haha Katanas are way easier to find in my part of the world than yours trust me :D. . . show weapons are nice, unfortunately half the time in my country, they're banned. Govt's pretty strict to say the least |

Really? Where are you from? Japan? And don't tell this to anyone, but it's illegal for me to hang them on the wall. I'm supposed to put them behind glass, according to the law, but I like to hold them sometimes, so for quick access they hang on my wall. |

I am a great fan of weapons on pictures, but the last thing I need is another hobby at the moment.
The island of Komodo is a long way from the Philippines; it lies south of Sulawesi in the southern part of Indonesia. |

I've got a nice big Maasi machete that I picked up while travelling in Africa. It stays beside the bed, just in case I need to peel an apple in the middle of the night.. |

Oh, I just realized. I also have a hand crossbow (with bolt), but it doesn't work properly. I suppose If I repair it (or rather let it be repaired) it could work. But again, it's just for show. |

I have...
About 12 swords, 3 axes (one super-sharp from Toledo, Spain, which cut the heck out of my finger when I was shining it on Christmas morning), a mace, a replica of Sarumon's staff, about 20 daggers, a shield, a helmet, and a 250 dollar velvet cloak.

I have to be careful not to have my swords in arms reach of my bed. I have a waterbed, so.... I don't want a leak. |

Once I start making money again, one of the first expensive things I'll get is a replica of the rapiers the Swedish army used during the Great Nordic War in the early 1700s (1700-1721 for anyone who might be interested. They're beautiful weapons. |

I recently bought a nice looking longsword with a sheath. My first. I like Scimitars and longswords...even short swords and jeweled knives. Coulda woulda shoulda bought a helmet and shield that were being sold with the swords....but money needs to be used to buy books that allow me to buy tons of imaginary and "magical" weapons and armor ;) |

I agree. I bitch at people when they say "oh nice sword, you should have gotten a real one though, like those fencing ones in the Olympics"..... |
