Well met and welcome. May you find all that you are looking for amongst the walls of candlekeep. If ever you have a question, feel free to ask it.

"What's that," asked Mogget.
"Sardines," said Sam. "I knew they were standard rations, so I got a few tins for you."
"What are sardines?" Moggest asked suspiciously. "And why is there a key? Is this some sort of Abhorsen joke?"

Greetings Hendrindar. I think you will find this place to be restful and welcoming. The scribes here are friendly and helpful, so don't hesitate to ask about something if you're so inclined. May you find what you're looking for.

Greetings Hendrindar, I hope that your stay in this sanctuary of wisdom and learning is an enjoyable one.

It is knowledge that influences and equalizes the social condition of man; that gives to all, however different their political position, passions which are in common, and enjoyments which are universal.

Welcome Hendrindar to the greatest repository of knowledge in all the realms. It's all here... one has only to look in the proper scroll or ask the right scribe.

I hope you find all that you seek.

Hmmmpf I merely turn my back to place a few tomes back on the shelf, only to return to my desk to find some haughty merchant has stolen my chair

"Mirt's Place" eh? That sign would be quite fitting hanging above the garderobe

Or seeing knowing our portly friend's interest into Skullport maybe the chair at the entrance to the jakes?

Welcome and well met Hendrindar.

Alaundo:

Maybe the "haughty merchant" will sell your chair back to you at a reasonable price.

In any case, welcome to Henrindar.
