| this was like the first thread i read before i joined this site way way back in the day...and its back in business....yeah i used to see nothing wrong with the drizzt books and i still dont see anything TOO wrong...i mean im still a huge fan and cant wait for his new book but i agree that all the talking about his feelings did get old after while...i mean at first it was cool because it builds the character more and you can relate more...etc...but after while it just got kind of repetitive...but yeah actually the main thing i noticed when i switched over from DL to the drizzt books that got me started on FR is that the characters never died like in DL...but yeah etc etc...whatever...oooo but hey....if they did kill off all drizzts human friends and then he ends up going with innovild....whatever that elf chicks name is that would be a pretty cool plot twist and might renew ALOT of peoples interest in the books...i mean i would be sad if all them died...cattie brie...wulfgar...bruenor....regis...etc...but hey...it might be worth the renewed plot... |
