Try a bard. I hear the developers gave bards some "lovin'", and they definitely benefit from 3.5E rules. |

Haven't played the OC yet, but I've been hanging out on the NWN2 boards and I know for a fact that you don't get a true cleric until near the end of the game. You'll have to rely on that druid companion for your priestly needs. |

Yeah, but the Druid makes a decent substitute for a cleric.
Speaking of Bards, I definitely agree that the developers were being friendly towards Bards with this. In fact, I'm thinking of doing a Bard my next time through the game. It would be nice because of the "Jack of all Trades" type skills that a Bard has - so you can do a lot more things (yourself) vs. relying on the other 'specialized' classes. Considering going Human Bard/Sorcerer/Fighter/Rogue (but most levels in Bard) |

Yes, but doesn't every human king sound like either Patrick Stuart or Sean Connery. |

Does anybody know the rule on enhanting items in NWN2? I think it might be different than actual 3.5D&D... I added frost and fire damage to my +3 rapier but then when I tried to add poison, it said something like maximum number of enchantments or something... Any ideas? |

It was like that in NWN1, as well...the game doesn't want you to add too many enchantments to a weapon, and I'm not surprised NWN2 has a similar system going. It's probably a built-in check to keep the PC from having overpowered stuff. |

Another question on crafting... Does anybody know where I can find a COMPLETE list of the "recipies"? For example, for crafting a wondrous item, I've only seen about a couple dozen or so recipies (Belts of giant strength, periapts of wisdom, headbands of intellect, and a few others). I'm open to spoilers on this one! |

I've got one, but not to hand. I think there was one publshed on the NWVault somewhere, fairly soon after the game came out. I'll try to look my list out, but I expect you can find it online fairly easily. |
These, in the day when heaven was falling, The hour when earth's foundations fled, Followed their mercenary calling And took their wages and are dead.
Their shoulders held the sky suspended; They stood, and earth's foundations stay; What God abandoned, these defended, And saved the sum of things for pay. |

Always try looking on gamefaqs.com. :)
I removed the link because gamefaqs doesn't allow external sites to link to them due to bandwith usage. However, you can still find the craft link on their site under NwN2. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

I downloaded a spreadsheet on the NWN2 site last night. Wow, that's a big list. Too bad I didn't have this list before I started crafting. I wasted some good materials.
For characters, I've created a few just for fun but didn't really play them. My current character is a Ranger/Rogue/Fighter: 8/3/4. I'm gonna play all the way through one more time after I finish this time (getting real close) but haven't decided what class to play next. I was thinking Bard but am not sure yet.. |

I've finished chapter 1, and am enjoying every moment. So far this takes me back to BG2 type of storyline. Subplot over subplot. So much to do, and so much to see give you a feeling of expansiveness in this game. |

My dwarven fighter/Defender just entered Act 3.
I have made a warlock and according to new patch, there are craftables. Since warlock levels dont count towards spell levels, Might need a Caster to make me some Warlock equipment. |

Anyone know where the Reciepe books from NWN2 are kept in DIR tree?
I want to print them out and see how they work as an alternate magic item creation system |
