I have no real preference on the name, so whatever anyone else comes up with works for me :)

Ack! I seem to have too much blood in my coffee stream!

When did 'common sense' cease to be common?

It has been brought to my attention that I forgot to introduce myself:

My character is Luie halfling monk of Tymora!

I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be.
(Strikes dramatic pose, raises sword to gleam in the sunset, and hopes breeches won’t fall down.)
Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . .
So saith Ed. <snip>

Nice to meet you, as well. Looks like fighting is not going to be a problem for this group. We have at least one fighter, one ranger, and one monk.

*grins* I like this, three fighter types, and two caster types, that means all my bard will have to do is lap up the kudos from whoever employs us

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

Hmm...I dunno, I think the ballads would be better if you weren't, unless New Olamn uses an age-rating system to decide who gets to perform at least. Then again, how does one indicate whether a person is dressed or not on a flute?

Could one of you resend my combinued email and any replies you replied with after my update? I had a bad HD and I had to return it and I didn't get to back up.

Thanks. :)

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

A quick rules-question (I promise, I won't turn into a rules-lawyer - too bad memory for one thing), are we using the additional rules for bardic music and instruments in Complete Adventurer. Just got the book this week, and went looking for some nice ideas - this one seemed neat.
