Priest of Chauntea, Guardian of Selune, Follower of Lathander

Turning Demons Away...

http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?p=7361196#post7361196
Five Demons

For those who know of the above character, you know that I have been slowly getting things together for three NPC's of mine for a great campaign I am trying todo. I've supplied the three links above so you (if you feel is needed) can look through those. First one deals with what it says, me startin this idea some time back. The last two are more recent an involving a (conterverstal) topic (mainly third link.) which we needed to call in Ed for, and still waiting on a more detailed answer. Priest of Chauntea, Guardian of Selune, Follower of Lathander is what I have labled them. Preety much, the campaign is titled "Triangle of Three". That being the three deities above: Chauntea, Selune and Lathander. A joint artifact created by the three of them sometime ago (perhaps even Amaunthor and not Lathander)

Some of you (Wizard Board memebers mostly)know that I've kind of locked in Follower of Lathander. He is a Sorcerer (Celestial blood) of a small Temple of Lathanders. His family was killed by Baneites or Cyians (or where they?) while doing something in Lathander's name. He was either redeeming a demon, or assiting the redeemed demon in something set by Lathander. Click the last two links for a good information on him. Basically, a brisk older (40's) human male.

The Priest of Chauntea I will make another at some point and venture into him more. Basically, he's a Priest who wonders the Faerun. I often see him as someone who might visit crops and gardens and give Chauntea's blessing over, aid in natural disasters (Talona, Umberlee, etc.). You get the idea with him for now. He too is a human male.

But, the Guardian of Selune. I'll give you a pyshical and some characterist run down on her, and maybe how she looks. Guardian of Selune (Nameless at the time being) is a Half Drow/Human female. She carries the lythancrope disease, from her father, what form I havent' completely decided yet. Her mother was a very prominent, maybe High priest of Elissatree. (It'd be very cliche, but she could be Qilue's daughter...that'd aid in some epic'ness. Or someone well known I don't know about. ) Anyways...other females clerics and priestesses of Elisstraee found it dissapointing for the most part that she (the priestess in question) would carry child and fall inlove with a human. After heated arguments, she decided she would give the child to her father and never see either of the two again. Her father has (like many others) been a man of Selune for obvious reasons. Simple fellow for the most part, nothing too exciting about him.

So, now to the daughter. She follows Selune of course and is in a group that protects something, be it a item or a church, I'm unsure. Anyways, I kind of see her as a Warrior/Cleric'esk person (more warrior like). I think because she was born under the full moon, and as a gift was offered this.

That is as about as far as I can get with her. Now, to the who classes and character-develpment stage. I know I typed alot, but I appreicate any insight and suggestions of course :)

I got nothing else to add. :) Especially after that debate about the tanar'ri.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Tanar`ri debate? From your tone it rather sounds like the Tanar`ri debacleDo I even dare ask what happened?

To make a quick reply for you, it was Real World being applied into Realm World. Simple as that.

Go look at the..third link. You'll see my first post (which sums up second link really.). From there, you'll get a good idea if you read a few posts on the bottom of page 1, and decent amount on page 2.

Lets just leave it, some posters believe that turning a tanar'ri good against it's will is an evil act. :)
