How many Faerunian Days did it take for your PCs to complete the module?

My PCs are up to D+9 and theyve only just got to Szith Morcane

Did any Dms end up depopulating Battledale, Featherdale and Mistledale?

Yeah, I actually had to. My party decided that they needed to take DAYS at a time to inspect each site and explored the whole adventure at the pace of a snail. I felt bad (the group I was with was really, really technical), but I had to spring upon them the wrath of Kiaransalee and her legions of undead...

Oh well, they did end up winning, once they got some fellow empires (Cormyr, even Sembia) to pitch in and help win the day.. if I would have kept running that setting, the Dalelands would have owed a lot to Sembia, and that's not a very good position to be in.

I imagine the Dales, Cormyr, Zhentil Keep and Sembia would mobolise like they did against Lashan of Scardale pre ToT

Yeah, but you know that alliance wouldn't last past the minute the Undead invasion ended. They would be plotting the deaths of each other immediately. Just read "The Farthest Reach" by Richard Baker. Sembia, Hillsfar, and Zhentil Keep worked together for like, one day, and then started trying to kill each other.

Well met,
I also found it very Difficult to keep with the timeline, but I figured that the Dales would fid a way to survive, they always do. The main problem for me was the amount of time required to explore the very vast aresa of play and the fact that teleportation and such spells are discouraged in most areas of the underdark.

Until next,
Sariss
