Greetings, does anyone have any cannon material on the Phoenix Guard? The only time I have come upon them is from Baldur's Gate. My thanks scribes.

This was already discussed. http://www.candlekeep.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=111#42714 and there appears to be no direct source describing this group that one can point to. The group namr may have had a passing reference ( A line line comment) that such a group exists.

"Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding.
"After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first."

Nay nothing for you toregert.

All may not be lost, there are more eyes to read now then when the thread I linked to recieved its last post.

I do suspect that like Darksong Knights there is not much canon concerning them, but by now there might be more about the Phoenix Guard.

This was all I could find: http://myth-drannor.net/DlabraddathNet/z-Cormanthyr/retreat.htm I would be interested to know how accurate this info is.

Hah, it has been a long time indeed since that question came up. A mystery of the Realms not developed yet... wonder if He of the Green Woods might know something...

From what I recall of the BG game, the Phoenix Guard in Nashkel seemed to have no obvious links to elves. The link to Myth-Drannor.net might be another Phoenix Guard. It wouldn't be the first time that there is a duplication of names...

I would be interested as well if Mr. Greenwood could shed some light on this.

That is also a possibility.

There could be more truth to that than most realise.

I've just come across a reference to a 2e kit called the 'Phoenix Guard' who are said to be tied to the worship of the Morning Lord. They seem to embody the aspect of "resurrection and renewal".
