Maps from Champions of Valor now available.

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

Wow. A Map of a forest clearing with a stone in the middle. Obviously they're aren't looking to give much away in any preview material.

It's maybe an attempt at making the book multiverse friendly: "whatever the world you play in, you will be able to use Champions of Valor: look at how useful, open and creative our maps are: a forest clearing with a stone in the middle! It could be in Cormanthor or in the Eldeen Reaches!!"

;-)

Does anyone know the actual Friday this tome is going to be released on? Or are they going to wait until Hellspike Prison is released (as their usual MO)?

Bah - they need to have release dates of Tuesdays like DVDs.

Krash... Dargoth...

Do either of you have a predicated release for CoV in Australia? Last I heard, it was scheduled for around the 14th-18th of November.

Just popped into my FLGS: they haven't had word from the distributor yet that it's available - don't forget, we have a rather pathetic customs situation in Sydney at the moment ... My FLGS is still waiting for stuff it ordered in September.

Indeed. I'm still waiting for a few orders myself... So I suppose the above date I mentioned earlier is rather out-of-date now, since it was something I learned back when the customs issue hadn't gotten so out of hand like it is now.

::sigh::

Way back in my teens, I worked for the Gaming Warehouse that distributed to the Napoleon's chain. I was just thinking about that - every Wednesday it would take us hours to fill the orders for their 4 stores. Just was wondering whatever happened to it.

The book is out. I called my FLGS today, and they said it wasn't in. I just got home and checked my email -- the book arrived about an hour after I left. So, if I don't go grab it tonight, I will upon the morrow, at lunch time.

Hellspike Prison was there, too, though I didn't look at it.

Well, what are you STILL doing here? Go on, get... go and read the book so you can come back here and make me jealous of the fact that I still have to wait several weeks for it .

WHAT?! I... hate... you... soooo much....
OK. So give us the skinny when you get a chance to assimilate the info. I too have to wait awhile... Amazon gives a good deal but takes forever...

Now these Character Options are nifty... It's got this Regional Backgrounds section. Each one has a title, a brief blurb about the background, and then the appropriate Region, Automatic Languages, Bonus Languages, Favored Deities, Regional Feats, and Bonus Equipment.

So far, that's all I've looked at. I've not even flipped thru the book yet. I was just scanning the table of contents, and I had to see what "Bastard of Azoun" was...
