Huh.....
Malaglan Spurbright (male LG Chondathan human Ftr9/Ari2/Cav2; noble): A proud, hot-tempered, handsome, avid hunter and lady-chaser, loyal and diligently learning how to some day head his noble house. He has no head for finances and diplomatic half-lies, being impatient to "buy what I want right now" and "speak plainly."
Cav2? Cavalier? What book is that in? |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Cav2? Cavalier? What book is that in?
Complete Warrior, as I recall. Which updated the Cavalier PrC from Sword & Fist.

Odd, since that isn't on the WOTC prestige class list...... didn't think there was a 3/3.5e cavalier....... But I guess there is. Still weird that it's not on the WOTC list. :) |

Actually, it is on the WotC PrC listing:- http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/lists/prc

Awesome, that was the most entertaining Realmslore piece I've read for a while. |

9 months after posting in here, I'm happy to report new Realmslore! Woo!
Tomb of the Astronomer
The DnD site is taking forever to load though. Quite understandably, really! |

It's not by Ed. It's by Bruce Cordell, this one. Still, it looks very nice from the quick glance I had, and it's got artwork with it! |

It's put under the Realmslore title, for sure. Unable to check the rest of the site for more info right now, seeing as it's very laggy. |

Well, it's about the Calim Desert. Certainly looks like Realmslore to me. |

These aren't all Ed's articles. 'Realmslore' is the new title for the digital Dragon's regular FR column. Anyone and everyone is qualified to submit a proposal and write for it. Given the advent of 4E they are specifically looking for lore-driven pieces with a specific focus on geography and visiting and fleshing out hitherto undetailed little corners of the Realms. So got to it all you budding FR scribes and loremasters!

So you're saying I should dig out those preliminary notes I made on Ruathym before my PC's graphics card got overheated?

Bah, you faithless Coast-Dwelling-Wizard's apprentice j/k
Why promote this gleemax-whatsit-thingy when we have an excellent medium for publicizing Realmslore created by fans: the Candlekeep Compendium.
But seriously, what would the Gleemax site et al have to offer more than what Candlekeep brings us... just look at all who are present here.
I vote for Alaundo's site! |
