What new one? I just see the same two (Beholder, Tiefling and Gnome) that have been there for a while now. |

There just rearranged the website some to make it more noticable. |
"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards." "Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding. "After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first." I had already seen the gnome and tiefling one, and it was kind of annoying, but I went back and watched the beholder one, and I am amazed at how stupid it is. Who are they making these for? Who decided that this would be a good way to "sell" 4E? I guess it's the same folks who wrote the following concerning magic items (copied directly from the website and pasted here):
"The number of slots has been reduced (by combining slots that were similar), to keep the number of items manageable and easy to remem-ber."
What? How hard is it to remember what magic items you are wearing? Is it really overload to try and keep up with the properties of six or seven magic items? I would be insulted if I were the target audience for 4E, of course I am very clearly not, so I'll shut up now. |

*shrugs*
Perhaps they are trying to show us how game table will look like.
I was not impressed with either Vid, quality IMO was poor and the effort put into them could have been otherwise directed.
However WotC appears to believe the Vids are "Neat" and/oe "Cool"
Not sure why, but some people clearly have liked them. |

I will forgive that if they make a giant that sounds like Otis Redding and a dragon that sounds like Aretha. |

Perhaps they're trying to present the soulful sensual side of the Beholder. I mean apparently Gnome are now raving idiots, and tieflings are Paris Hilton Wannabes. I thought they were funny. I realize that "mature gamers" are definitely not the target audience anymore. I think 4e will come with a Rated T label. |
