I read it, liked it in a really passive kind of way, and then donated it to the library a few years later. It was ok, but I never heard of the location before (haven't tracked down Giantcraft, either, but the territory isn't referenced ANYWHERE else, which bugs me, continuity wise, and do you think I can make this sentence any longer? :) ). The best one was the middle book, I think.
Check that, I just remembered that the Angel of Thieves (or whatever he was called, from the really awful sequel to the Avatar Trilogy) was the thief from the Twilight Giants books. But I didn't like Twilight Giants too much and I really detested those two books (Crucible and whatever the other one was called), so I'm sorry I don't remember more. |
Doggedly converting 3e back to what D&D should be... Sigh... And now 4e as well. |

The name was Avner, I believe...
And I, for one, loved Prince of Lies and Crucible: The Trial of Cyric the Mad. They're two of my fave Realms novels, and much better than the Avatar trilogy they follow. |
