I just read "Pool of Radiance:Ruins of Myth Drannor" from Carrie Bebris(got it cheap on a second hand market) and was very surprised how well written this book was.
So my question, is this author's name a synonym, or are there any other books from Carrie Bebris out there?

"If you're looking for information about my previous titles, you can find that here, too. Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor and Shadowborn are both fantasy tales of the sword-and-sorcery variety. " |
"Small beings can have small wisdom," the dragon said. "And small wise beings are better than small fools. Listen: Wisdom is caring for afterwards." "Caring for afterwards ...? Ker repeated this without understanding. "After action, afterwards," the dragon said. "Choose the afterwards first, then the action. Fools choose action first." Carrie is a very real person and ex-TSR staffer (I recall that she wrote some Birthright supplements), whom I've met at GenCons, and a friend of Ed's. He recommended to me Carrie's Mr. and Mrs. Darcy (Jane Austen Pride&Prejudice-pastiche) mystery, PRIDE & PRESCIENCE, from Tor Books, which is the first of a series. Very enjoyable and well-written (but NOT, of course, D&D-style fantasy). Good libraries should have this series, if you want to taste before buying. THO |
