Hmm, this one is kind of like "If a tree falls in a forest" sort of question, but . . .

If a character has never been introduced in canon before and they get a miniature, does that mean they exist?

Oh, and its good to know that an arcane ballista is lawful good.

Does this mean that a catapult is chaotic evil?

Can paladin's use catapults then?

(Sorry, eventually I'll leave off the seige engine humor . . . )

Paladins can indeed use catapult's - they're Lawful Neutral. Trebuchets on the other hand is another matter completely

There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist.

One of my friends in his Warhammer Fantasy army had a Giant Spider that was very well painted, that he used only against one other friend.
The particular friend would concentrate all attacks to kill that spider as fast as possible
So was a good tactic to allow the one to get his Skaven in close to the others Dwarves.

Ha let them concentrate on the Fiendish Spider, it will make a suitable distraction for my Huge Blue Dracolich!

I have a friend who does the same thing with ProtoMechs in BattleTech. He hates the things and will waste much firepower on them, allowing the real Mechs to get in close and do far more damage than the Protos are capable of. Naturally, this is one of the reasons I like to field Protos.

Gee... If your friend feels that way about Protos... I'm pretty sure I know how he feels about Elementals .

I've never fielded them, really. I just don't like ground-pounders. Besides, the last game, when I fielded those tanks, was the first time we tried a battle that wasn't all Mechs.

Gino actually likes Elementals, and I think he's planning on fielding some...

That sounds good... and it could work as well since that failed holiday the Lady K and I planned to take back in December has been rescheduled to late-August early-September. We can probably both swing by and compete.

About "Frums Apap, Funguy Berserker"... Did anyone else catch the spelling of his name? Spell it backwards...

I like the Azer actually... they look much better than those initial concept artist pieces someone posted on the WotC boards a couple of months back.

Neat.

Hello-

The clear-looking bow is cool too. Me - I'm hoping for a 2x2 square base sized Gealtinous Cube! Featuring some 'bits' of stuff floating inside too - like bones, a sword, a helm, maybe some coins...

I thought it was cool how they have helped the distribution too. Though - having a 'good shot' at a full set with just 18 boosters sounds good - the fact that they are $20 a pop means an outlay of at least $360 - and that means eithe ryou get real lucky - or get doubles of some of the more desirable ones - so that y ou can more easilly trade for what you are still missing. Heck - I have 3 Bulettes myself.... but no Huge Red Dragon, Glabrezu, Behir or Warforged Titan. Oh well.

On a related note - I'm curious how other people have dealt with storage/display of the minis.

Dhomal

I am collecting the D&D Minis. I would be more than willing to trade with people. You can send me a PM here with your email listed - and I can send you my minis list. Thanks!

Successfully traded with Xysma!
