Well met!

Here is a little divergent Forgotten Relams timeline that I put together for the Sunset Vale. Any constructive criticisms are welcome!
In fact, any opinions of how surounding powers, eg. Balder's Gate, Elversult, Elturel, Waterdeep, might react to these (the more recent) goings on would be muchly appreciated.

At anyrate, here it is for whatver it might be worth to you ...

960 DR
- Iriaebor founded as a Cormyrean trading post

1060 DR
- with the end of the Tunland campaigns, a floodgate of migrants soon
turned the trading post into a walled city and launching point for further exploration and settlement.

1090 DR
- the tragic Battle of the Bones is fought between the forces of human and goblinkind
- the halflings of Hardbuckler, Hill's Edge, and Corm Orp are immortalized for their bravery. (Gnomes? There were gnomes there?!?!? but I thought ...)
- Hluthvar is founded by the Helmite hero of the same name, who settled north of Asbravn following the Battle.
- Berdusk is founded by the hero Berdusk, another famous veteran of the Battle of the Bones, whose fame would wax greater still in the years to come..

1110 to 1130 DR
- hordes of vengeful orcii pour out of the southern hills and mountians of the "Sunset" range, thus instigating the Orc Wars against both the humans and dwarves of the region.
- the rise of the legend of Durgheddin the dwarf, of the slaughter of his clan, and the power of the blades he forged within the fires of
his own vengence to beat back the tides of orcii. Thence, all magical
blades, irregardless of actual origin, have since become known,
figuratively, as "Durgheddin's Work" within the Vale.

1180 to 1312 DR
- the rise of the Lich-Queen Varla, who terrorized the folk of the Tunland and Sunset Vale from the ancient stronghold known as the Darkhold.
- Cormyr withdraws prescence from the western Tunlands, and relinquishes it's hold (eg. taxes, consent) on Iriaebor; thus earning much emnity and resentment.
- the Lich-Queen's reign of terror is, at long last, brought to an end by Manshoon and the Zhentarim; who are hailed throughout the Tunlands and Sunset Vale as heroes.

1313 to 1347 DR
- during this period the Zhentarim begin to extend their influence over the Tunlands and Sunset Vale from the Darkhold. This culminated in the take-over of Iriaebor, the imprisonment of it's Lord Bron, and his replacement with the Zhentarim agent Lady Cutter.

1357 DR
- this year witnessed the fall of Lady Cutter and the return of Bron the Good to the Lordship of Iriaebor.

1366 DR
- the youngest son of the Tunland clanlord Thaalim Torchtower is slain in a Purple Dragon raid, war breaks out in the Tunlands
- the Render is created in the dungeons beneath the Darkhold, and released into the southern reaches of the Far Hills after slaughtering 100's of Zhnetarim soldiers.

1367 DR
- tribes of orcs and goblinoids begin to flee before the wrath of the
Render, causing a marked increase in raids along the Sunset Trail this
season.

1368 DR
- the threat of orc and goblinoid raids along the Dusk Road continues, but seems to die down in the latter half of the year ... only for Asbravn to find itself nearly over-run just after harvest
- Lord Maurandyr of Hluthvar begins to act in an increasingly erratic and irrational manner; talk is that the Darkhold is responsible for both Maraundyr's infirmness and the goblinoid raids ... that they are trying to soften the Dusk Road communities to Zhentarim trade.

1369 DR
- the Second Orc Wars continues to rage within the southern Sunset Vale

1370 DR
- a special force made up of powerful contingents from Iriaebor, Berdusk, Asbravn and Hluthvar set out into the Far Hills to slay whatever horror is driving the orcii out. Many are slaughtered, few escape to tell of the beast. Amongst these are the Hluthvarians, Fyrnoth and Virgil the Vigilant of Helm.
- Maurandyr tears the eye from an altar boy during a service, declaring it the all seeing eye of Helm, and is relieved of his position and confined to his quarters.
- Virgil emerges as the new High Watcher of the Church of Helm and Fyrnoth emerges as the new secular Lord of Hluthvar. Zhentarim caravans begin to move freely in and out of Hluthvar.
- a great horde of orcii once again descends upon Asbravn, completely
over-running it this time until a combined force of Iriaebians and
Berduskans slaughtered and drove them out. This allied force continued along up the Dusk Road to Hluthvar, scouring it of all orcii. Their request for hospitality from Hluthvar was denied.
- late in the year a horde of undead flooded into the Tunland and Sunset Vale; Hills Edge, Corm Orp, and Hluthvar are all over-run, while Asbravn is nearly lost ... again.
- Tiamat and Sammaster attack the Darkhold, and force the submission of nearly 1,000 warriors.

1371 DR
- Berdusk, Asbravn, and Iriaebor formalize the Dawn Alliance; construction of the huge Crimson Fortress begins on the ruins of Asbravn.
- a great red wyrm named Navalara led a great host of orcii across Old Cormyr’s northern reaches and sacked Arabel. Azoun and the wyrm slew each other, and the orcii were at last put to flight.
- the infant Azoun V is declared the new King of Cormyr, with his aunt Alustriel acting as his regent until he comes of age; much grumbling.

1372 DR
- Tilverton is destroyed by a horde of draconic hybrids reportedly led a draco-hydra of unimaginable size (Tiamat).
- Iriaebor and the newly erected Crimson Fortress are raided by a combined force of dragons and devils and suffere much damage; two men arrive at the Crimson Fortress claiming to have escaped from the dungeons of the Darkhold; forseeing defeat, the Dawn Alliance assembles a number of bands to quest for the fabled Orbs of Dragonkind.
- the newly reformed kingdom of Immeresk gently declares it's independence from Cormyr and voices it's desire for "continued" peace and friendship.

"Ill tempered the wretch, who laughs at everyone. He cannot recognize, as he should, that he is not without faults." the High One, Poetic Edda

Alustriel? I hope you meant Alusair, because otherwise there's some explanation needed...

He's not the only one to make such a mistake. I've done it at least once when speaking about one of the characters.
