I posted a question about the Argent Legion under General Forgotten Realms Chat. I didn't want to leave the description of the horsemen vague, but I could not find anything to use in describing them.

Thats ok Hammer I think you did a good job describing them You can always add more info when you find out more later. Either in your compiled version of the campaign or in future encounters with them

Thank you Lee"Wood Elf Ranger" for helping out with my Hammer avatar. Lookin' good.
I think several people are away at the moment and there is a lull, but e-mail any questions you have. I know a couple of you are looking forward to the 'new' game in town(actually it is older than this one, just taking longer to get off the ground), just don't forget about us little people who helped you get where you are today.

Lookin' good Hammer! I'm glad you like what I did

Don't ye worry me friend! Just cuz Sages game is on doesn't mean I'm going to pay any less attention to this one. I'm thoroughly enjoying the campaing so far and truthfully I'm surprised its going as fast as it is with all of our busy schedules I can't wait to find out what happens to the Sundabar Seven!

Some of you may not know that Sarelle has pulled himself, and Guaygrek possibly, from the campaign. He has given me control of of the grey dwarf, whom I have plans for, but I'm not sure if I should have one of the other players run him, if I should run him as an NPC attached to the party(playing as well as DM'ing, but leaving the decisions to everyone else), or giving him a job to do away from the party until needed, or until Sarelle comes back to us.
Sarelle may never return our PbEM, although I, and you, should still send him your posts. He will be our only lurker as of now, which I will try to keep lurking limited to just Sarelle for now, and hopefully he will feel like joining us in the future. Let me hear your input as to how we should handle Guaygrek in the campaign.
Also, I will try to post by tomorrow to get the game moving along.

Sarelle, get to where you need to be, and come back whenever you want. We'll keep the candles burning.

Methinks you should give the character to a new player... DM control is always annoying for the DM, and having another player control this PC would result in an inferior character development.

I understand Sarelle will always be welcomed back, and that we are keeping a candle burning for her: just take the new player under the clause that if she comes back, he will have to create another character of the same level. That way no one loses.

Talwyn was looking to join Sage's PBeM but could not because his campaign is "already started" (whatever that means! ) I think he would be a good choice for a new player, and playing a Duergar will give him the opportunity to try something else than a paladin!!

EDIT: One more thing though --> if you ask Talwyn to join, you should allow him to make minor modifications to the character, notably in terms of alignment, as he may not want to play a Duergar with the same alignment Sarelle chose.

I will probably open the character up for a new player. I just wanted to hear the pro's and con's from the group. We're both thinking along the same lines it seems.
I've seen Talwyn in the inn and he has a unique flair. Do you think he would go for it(if you are reading this Talwyn, what say you?)?

We barely got any rain, much less storm surge, tropical winds, etc. Florida west to Tallahassee received plenty of damage, flooding, and power outages. Everything is good here in LA(Lower Alabama).

Well, its fine by me Talwyn. Any objections?
Most of Guaygrek's information is further back on this thread. The campaign information is under Hammer's PbEM on this adventure forum. E-mail me and we can discuss either Guaygrek's future, or putting him on hiatus at the next pitstop to get you going with a character.

Hump, what hump?

Alright guys, I'm trying not to get bogged down. So,I have to square everything away this weekend. I have a lot of rolls to sort through, actions to figure out, and a small army of orcs to send to their deaths.

We hope to their deaths and not our deaths *prays*

Let us know if we need to make any more rolls... mmm rolls with honey or jam and... oh wait I didn't mean those kind of rolls

Craft (baking): *rolls* 15!

Well I'm back from my trip round Wales and Ireland and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm back in business and raring to go. Welcome aboard Talwyn, all the best Sarelle.

I'm afraid Races of Stone isn't high on my list of purchases either.

Last I heard from Hammer, Ivan was heading right for him. The hurricane has past now but there has been a LOT of flooding in the area. So until we hear from Hammer just keep praying that he and everyone else in the area are alright.

Well met

I wondered how long it would be before someone found out that the blocking has been removed to prevent the word "Calishite" being written

I'm sure we will hear from hammer of Moradin in due course and that all is well

Hmm... I forgot the "e" at the end... deeply sorry! This whole Alzhedo incident is reminding me of the eternal words scribed in my mind, the words I first read on a sign above my wife's appartment's toilet when I first met her many years ago: "I aim to please: will you aim too, please?"

Sorry guys. I posted a little bit last night in general for everyone at Candlekeep before e-mailing everyone in the PbEM. What happens then, but the power goes out for a few hours in the middle of the night. It came back on sometime during the wee hours, and occasionally flickers as they bring everyone back on the grid, but I'm back on and way behind.
I will try my darndest to get the combat moving by Sunday.
Hurricanes are a load of Calishite, that's for sure!

It's good to be back. I had everything ready on the computer before I lost power, so now I just have to get the time to finish it up to go through the first few rounds of combat.

I have sent out the information for combat to everyone. Please follow the guidelines I listed for posting actions in combat situations. One round of action per e-mail! It gets quite confusing organizing 7 characters with multiple actions listed for each, sometimes with additional e-mails. You are free to e-mail back and forth, but when you want to post a round of action I will take that one e-mail as your action with no additions or changes unless the situation warrants it.
