First off, what you rather want to "change into"? A frenzy or a rage?

Secondly, I was looking in my "Masters of the Wild" tome, and when I was reading through the book I noticed that the other rage feats... such as Destructive Rage... didn't include Frenzy. However, I opened up the "Complete Warrior" guide, and they included Frenzy (and Rage). Now the question is, which is the final information? I mean, well, does it go with the Frenzy and Rage or just the Rage? Or does the DM decide? Or does the more updated information win? I am guessing that the "Complete Warrior" is 3.5 while the MOTW is 3rd ed.

Yes the Complete Warrior is 3.5 and IMO is the final say on the matter IF you are playing by 3.5 rules. It comes down to the DM as to which s/he wants to allow.

I don't have the CW so I really can't answer which I would rather have, the Frenzy or the Rage.

I think that rage is much better than frenzy. Frenzy can only last so long and does subduel damage.

It's always(for 3e, at least) been "play by the latest set of rules". So, the CW is the last word on this.

Hm, no need to choose between Frenzy and Rage...I say stack 'em

"You scoff at the notion of a drow Bladesinger? My, my. How very foolish of you to believe that the Ilythiiri did not possess the secrets of the Bladesong in ages long past. A select few of us have carried a twisted rendition of the 'Song down through the generations. Now, bearing that in mind, will you wipe that ridiculous look of incredulity from your face, or must the keen edge of my blade do it for you?"

I am guessing by this statement that you meant that it does subdual damage to the person who is in "frenzy mode" and not the person the "frenzy dude" deals the damage to. BtW, aren't they both limited?

Here is another question, which is somewhat like the first so I will keep it in the same thread. I am making a Paladin of Slaughter as my class, then eventually I will pick Warrior of Darkness as the starting prestige. Now, the PoS gains Aura of Evil at lvl 1. However, the Warrior of Darkness gains a special ability... Aura of Evil. Does this cancel out the first one? Or does the person just get 2 Auras that are named the same?

It does subduel to the player. That means if you are reduced to say 5 hitpoints, and you try to stay in a frenzy for 5 rounds then you will be rendered unconcious.

Yes, and both auras will be in effect, yes.

Of course, if someone is fortunate enough to have the skill Deathless Frenzy... *BtW, this skill is sweet*
