Draws Alastor and charges strait into the battle to join Narad. Just as Narad parries one of the blows of the fighter on his left RaVeN/A charges in with the sword spinning over his head and spinning it between his hands, quite a feat for such a big sword, and with a final spin he lets the sword fly and the blade of Alastor flys true and hit the man in the chest pulling him back by the hilt and wedging him into a tree. I've still got it.

Seeing as how Narad is safe Cherrn stops one of the lines, the other one changes direction and heads towards the axewielder piercing his lower leg and wrapping itself around his other leg. The man screams in pain. Cherrn gives the silk a gentle tug and sends the man sprawling.

We got him. Finish him Narad before I do. Cherrn remarks with a grin.

Walks over to the tree where his sword was imbeded. Tugges on the sword but it wont budge. Hmm. Wont budge and inch. Walks around to the back of tree to see the blade of the sword sticking out of the trunk. Begins to tug on the blade with all his might. But the sword wouldnt move. Begins to concentrate on the tree and sends forth a bolt of lightening that strikes the tree square and causes it to burn. RaVeN/A satisfied that the tree will burn down eventually he turns back to the group. Chernn just crush him with the string of yours.

Fireheart gasps as the tree starts to burn. Watching carefully, it soon becomes clear that fire will limit itself to the tree. Breathing a sigh of relief, she walks to Raven/A and places a hand gently on his shoulder. Softly she says, "I understand your need for the sword, but could we please not burn the forest down to get to it?"

Sorry, the ranger in me had to say something!

Cherrn smiles grimly, then sighs.

Very well. please turn around Fireheart, this is a side of me I wish you wouldn't have to see.

Cherrn quietly drags the man towards him with the string of silk that has pierced the mans leg and wrapped itself around his other leg. The man howls in pain. Then he whimpers. "Please don't sir! Please don't... I have a wife and children..." The man tries to reach for his axe, but sadly it is out of his reach.

If you would stop fighting this would be over sooner rather than later!

Cherrn pulls hard on the string letting the man fly a few feet through the air. He lands with a dull thud in front of Cherrn. Cherrn reaches towards the man's head, but stops, thinks to himself, closing his eyes, out of the other sleeve a strand of silk appears gracefully flowing out towards the man's head. He panics, tries to wiggle himself out of the silk but to no avail. Cherrn opens his eyes again and with blinding speed and no noise at all the silk pierces the mans forehead. The man gasps. "Please..." Cherrn's eyes starts to glow with the power of lightning.

You should have thought about your wife and children before you started swinging that axe of yours around your head.

Cherrn grits his teeth. There is a bright flash as electricity shoots out towards the man following the silk. The man roars in pain as his body begins convulsing. Cherrn mumbles:

Just a little more...

A sickening pop is heard as the man's body falls limb missing it's head. The silk strand wipes itself off in the clothes that the man was wearing. Then it dissappears into Cherrn's sleeve again, as does the other one. Cherrn looks up as he wipes the blood from his face.

We won't be facing any undead dragons of the cult if we hurry. They have a dragon there, but it hasn't been transformed yet. The information I got from the man while inside his head tells me that it is a skull dragon, or black dragon as it is also known.

A wise man from Calimport once told me: "If a merchant puts sand in the flask of oil he's trying to sell you, then he isn't trying to sell you sand..."

Fireheart I think you have more risk to your little forest by the dragon than me. And you have no idea how much I need that sword. Walks over to the tree. Takes a little vial out and throws it at the tree which instantly stops burning. And goes and tuges the sword from the tree. Cherrn so you say this dragon is undead. Sounds like a spirited battle.

Cherrn eyes Raven/A and lets tiny smile show on his face.

I believe I said that it hadn't been transformed into a dracolich yet.

Thank you Raven/A. If Cherrn's right and memory serves, the blacks spit acid, not fire...so the forest may not go down in flames quite yet. She smiled as the flames went out. Regardless, I thank you for ending the fire. Fireheart turned toward the others, He is right. The dragon is more to worry about. Most of the forest is part of the natural order of prey and predator, but the trees can't defend themselves against a dragon and well, neither can those farmers. The dragon unbalances things.

Lich or no lich anything can be killed if you know how. Or thats my motto. Looks over at Chernn. We might as we'll consider it undead by the time we get there at this rate it will be transformed. Hes probably sacraficing these men here to fight us to delay us at every turn so it will have its chance. And with a battle on his door step he can feign a retreat to take up time. Then push his way back with stronger shock troops. Looks at the group. Does anyone know how we can kill this beast? I doubt we can melee it like we have these little warriors.

>Narad starts binding his wound>
The dragon isn't our only problem. The transforming is usually done by a high-ranking member of the cult. I'd quess a wizard and a powerful one too.
>Finishes and nods approvingly to his bandages>
As a dracolich the dragon will be even more powerful. The cult backing it up and we don't stand a chance.
Before the transformation is done they'll probably get rid of any possible threats.
>As he finishes his sentence, couple of miles ahead the forest explodes into fire.>
Oh no!
>Narad digs his map up and looks it, eyes widening>
It's started, they attacked the farmers!
>"No!" Ern rides from the forest with Narad's horse, towards the fight ahead. Narad whistles and his horse obediently turns back and stops to Narad's side>
We have to hurry, maybe we can save some of them!

Runs across the clearing and into the woods in a fit of adrenaline. Gets to the edge of the woods when it suddenly disappears in a sharp twenty foot drop. Now how do you think we should get down there. Survaying the cliff. Seeing a cluster of brush and moss growing not far from the edge. This might hurt, but we dont have time. Leaps off the edge and lands nearly perfectly in the brush and moss, clipping a tree limb on the fall. Standing up, he calls up to the group who can see the battle clearly just beyond the edge of the clearing at the base of the mountain just behind RaVeN/A. It doesnt hurt to bad if you land right. Runs into the thick of the battle and disappears engaging a axeman.

Name: Obliterist
Minor Chaos-demon
~Dragon skull armor
~Chaos god's sword :Tears of Ifrit
~powers: Telekenisis, pyrokenisis, powers over minor demons like fellhounds etc., extremeley physically strong and agile, sometimes (if angered tremendously) he can sprout wings and large talons and fangs, killing all in his sight.

The ground starts quivering.A huge red beam of light is sent down on the attacking orc archers. Several screams are heard, and when the light lifts, i am there, covered in blood.
FOOLISH MORTALS! How dare you attack Alastor's holder! I will cut your throats and bathe in your wickid blood! Lets out bloodcurdiling roar.
Ranger! Tend to Alastor's chosen sage! I will acompany your battle brethren! Please hurry! I will explain later.

Oliterist finnally you arrive. Must have taken you some time to reach us. Dodges a hard axblow from the side and thrusts Alastor throught the head of the ax man. Slidding his sword out of his head RaVeN/A leaps from the battle. And runs to the base of the embankment where everyone stands a few feet above him. This is Obliterist a Demon i met before i was trapped in this infernal sword. I have been sending him constant summons. His entry is partially my fault the blood bath of a battle must have finally been enought bloodshed to call him forth from where ever he was. Come lets join the battle and we will talk later. With that he leaps back into he battle and engages and kills three men with a combination of overhand and sideslashes.

The enemy lines begain to buckle back and retreat up the steps of the cave leading into the mountain. When the cultist retreated the peasent army gave a roar of glee and rushed after them. As the lines begin to enter the cave a giant blob of acid flew from the darkness of the cave. By the gods. The dragon shows itself. from the darkness of the cave the blackdragon shows itself. Towering over his cultist the dragon begun to melt away the lines of the charging peasents. Cherrn does the transformation of the Dracolich need massive sacrifices? What is the ritual that needs to be performed? We must know now if we have any chance at stopping the slaughter.

Cherrn looks down at the peasant army, a faint smile appearing on his face. Amusing... Just like driving cattle to a slaughter. Cherrn smile vanishes quickly as he remembers who he is with.

Hmmmm as far as I know the dragon only needs to drink some sort of vile potion. As far as I can see the cultists just lured the peasants here so the dragon can slaughter them for fun.

>Narad turns and runs away, avoiding burning trees, men and magics.
'Dargon transforms into a dracolich when it's lifeforce is taken from it's body and stored into a some sort of crystal. Then the lifeforce is released back to the dead body. No, Holder of Alastor! I will gaurd Cherrn here. His quest to find the transformation potion is quite dire.
Levitates a gaurdsman on to the blade of another behind him, impailing him
You must aid the bladesinger! With the strength of Alastor, it shouldnt be too difficult. You have only begun to explore Alastor. May the gods be with you all!
