Out of the D&D chars including gods and such, who all do you think would make the best couple? I mean there are some pretty good ones already and some that flirt as is. But who do you all see as a long lasting couple, one that would be in the right term, or at least close to it, the "perfect" couple in D&D?

Cyric and Mask.
^^ No offense/sacrilege meant, but I think they'd definitely make a good couple, even if it meant being gay. |

Lady Silverwing I disagree... not on offence or sacrilege, but Cyric's personality would destroy any bond of any sort with anyone... Although... Hmm preinsanity it did work with Cyric and Mask SPOLIER
(who was female when she/he/it was the sword, godsbane)
Anyways maybe it might work thinking about it now. Personally though Helm and the Red Knight I think compliment eachother better. Both LN, and while Helm is the Watcher, the Red Knight is the Planner. Had the two of them Held Mystra, she wouldn't have Escaped Helm's prison. Plus, Helm needs some company.. I feel for him, he's been alone since the Dawn Cataclysm... That is a long time to be alone. Even by deity standards... |

Well, since we may get on this kick it can be easily defeated, gods cannot be gay/lesbian/straight since in essence gods don't really have forms of their own, they can be male, female, sheep, demon, whatever, since really the forms we know them as are only the more prominate representations. Mask continually shifts his form in all the books so he would be better off as mist. Except for the Time of Troubles, the gods, really aren't that hung up on how they look... more or less since what ever a god does is essencially perfect, anyform they take don't really matter... I think I've cleared that all up |

I think the idea of gods falling in love is absurd. I know it is even in every myth but how a god can be that emotional. They should not love nor hate. They should act in a path of divine logic. However Loviatar and Ilmater make a great couple. One loves to hurt other to suffer, they can make eachother very happy. |

Well, it is an interesting idea. For gay gods, I would love to see Lathander and Talos, as they are always in opposition "DESTROY!!!!" "NO, RENEW!!!!"

Doubt it. More fitting, perhaps, would be Lathander and Chauntea, seeing as Lathander always sucks up to her anyways...... |

Well Drizzt and Alustriel always struck me as a nice couple.
How about Allusair and all the nobles of her age in Cormyr, that's a nice couple too |

I'm not so sure about Alusair...She strikes me as the type who will never actually 'settle' down, even given her present occupation...
Besides, looking over what we actually know of most of the noble houses in Cormyr, I think certain noble eyes will be focused more upon the throne, than in actually looking at Alusair as a potential partner in romance.
Alusair has a very important legacy to maintain, and protect. She's not the type of person who will let some 'stuffy' and overbearing male noble come in, and start dictating terms...Alusair's far too intelligent, and independent to be brought down by something like that.

If I remember right Lathander and Chuntea were in a relation that was blessed by a beautiful girl deity.
Alusair loved once and ranaway with that lad who was a priest of Gond but he was killed and Alusair was made to go back to palace. It is a rumour that after the death of her beloved, she utterly changed and lost all her joy and focused on her royal duties became the steel regent(am I right about that nickname).
Catty Brie and Drizzt like eachother but in the name of their fallen comrade Wulfgar, they are just very close friends.

If I remember, heh, Wulf there is not dead anymore. And infact him and drizzt had a few words about such a thing. Nothing that came to blows or even a serious talk, they just said they would let her decide |

Oh no, I knew what you were talking about (confound it Alaundo, we could really use a 'sarcasm' emoticon here), I just thought it would be interesting to talk about the 'possibilities' of Alusair and a little romance in her life...

Tazi Uskevren and Erevis Cale would probably make a nice couple. But the chances of those two getting together would be like Catti-brie growing a beard for Pwent. |

The "New Elf Maiden"'s name is Innovindil, and she's the former lover of Tarathiel. Why am I the only one who can remember names with clarity? |

Thanks Shadowlord, i have a problem remebering her name.
I don`t think her beeing the former lover of Tarathiel will stop the sparks I have read between her and Drizzt.
As i said in another topic, I have been waiting for Drizzt and Cattie Bri to get together since...a long time ago... and now she starts to get old and drizzt is just a young elf. I believe that Innovindil and Drizzt are the new couple cration of Slavatore
