A good fantasy comic is a good fantasy comic - what world it is set on has no bearing on whether I'll like it or not (that comes down to story, writing, and art)...

And there are non-D&Der's out there who are looking for a good fantasy comic. The last thing on their minds is "What time period is it?"

At the moment, the people in charge consider it NDA for what ever reasons. Anytime we come across a NDA in Ed's thread about a future upcoming product we accept it.
Then we move on.
I suggest going to your local shop when the comic debuts. Read the thing before buying. You like you buy. You don't like don't buy it. THEN come here then tell us how bad it is.

I hope Candlekeep continues to be the friendly forum of fellow Realms-lovers that it has always been, as we all go through this together. If you don’t want to move to the “new” Realms, that doesn’t mean there’s anything wrong with either you or the “old” Realms. Goodness knows Candlekeep, and the hearts of its scribes, are both big enough to accommodate both. If we want them to be.

Enough for now. The Realms lives! I have spoken! Ale and light wines half price, served by a smiling Storm Silverhand fetchingly clad in thigh-high boots and naught else! Ahem . .

-Because THO said that "Ed [said] he can't reveal much about the comic yet", because giving random information here hasn't been "approved by Wizards", unlike other internet interviews he's done, or will do, where he has/will provide further detail about the comic book that WotC said was fine to provide. A random poster asking here, on a random website, WotC has not been through the vetting process and hasn't authorized Ed Greenwood to answer.

-I'll ask you, too: when a General Manager signs/trades for a star player, but doesn't make the information public immediately for in-house reasons, you should be leery of the player's ability to play or the General Manager's ability to do his job?

-It really isn't rocket science, people. When Erik de Bie, or Elaine Cunningham, or Richard Baker, or Paul Kemp are/were asked details about their novels that they weren't authorized to reveal because of NDAs, they, too, politely declined. Has that ever been a sign of a large conspiracy, or a point in favor/against their writing? When Ed Greenwood has declined to answer information about anything else that he has signed an NDA in regards to, have people gotten all hot and bothered?
