Sirius, I've asked Alaundo on two previous occassions to update the selection of emoticons available here at Candlekeep. I know how you feel though, there have been times while here in the past, where I've required a 'sarcasm' smilie...

Oh my Goddess! You're right! Can you imagine what an update would be if it was posted:

Message: Hi! I just wanted to drop you a quick note to let you know we have a [moderator deleted] up right now for Ed Greenwood's new [moderator deleted]. This exciting new [moderator deleted] will cover [moderator deleted] and be released in May of this year. I hope you all enjoy the [moderator deleted]. Good gaming.
HAHAHAH. :) That made my day Sirius. |
For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

No problem. If it helps relieve some stress built up from dealing with certain forums, I'm glad.
Thanks Sage for letting me know you've asked Alaundo about the sarcasm emoticon. I wonder if there is a fear now I might overuse it?
Moreover, I wonder if this thread is going to collect dust if the gaming report news is accurate. |

Thanks Alaundo...
There's no rush though, I just felt the need for scribes here to be able to express a more expansive range of emotions and/or opinions.
Besides, sometimes scribes have diffcultly picking up 'sarcastic' remarks made by others, and this can be confusing...

What? What was that? I don't understand!
I just ordered PGTF from FRP Games. If there's any luck I'll have it by Monday of next week. |

I can't find it in my 3e list. Is it 3.5e, and what class list is it on? |

I just checked the Tome of Magic, Sage. It's not there.
Anyway, I'm truly responding to bring this up. Nice commentary on the Drizzt trend...and the relevance to this topic is the bit on regional sourcebooks(if you can find it.). I mean the comic, by the way. |

I believe that's one of the characters from one of the Dragon Ball series...*shudders*...and yes, the other two characters were Duke Nukem and Spock. |

Yes, I recognised Duke Nukem (although, only from having once played through a 3D game), and of course Spock, but now that you mentioned it, the child does indeed look like those screaming kids from that Dragonball show...
Thanks for that Arivia...

Well, Josh Sortelli seems to have chosen to expand this into a storyline for the comic, which does mean there's another strip available at the location above. Oh, and the punchline won't make any sense unless you're a longtime reader.
Bookwyrm, you might have seen the strip for the 22nd. It begins with the strip before that. |
