So I have absolutely no clue if anyone is interested in this, but I figured if anyone would, this is the place. I'm doing this massive, probably quixotic project to read through all the Realms books (that interest me; skipping some that just don't appeal) starting from the beginning. I'd love to hear what hard core Realms fans think about my takes on stuff & if anyone wants to make it more book club-y or at least pick up the slack w/some detailed reviews of the stuff I'm skipping, that'd be awesome.

There's some other stuff on the channel that might interest some of you, as well, but the Realms stuff seems the most pertinent.

Thanks, guys!

-I posted it elsewhere, and realized it wasn't very relevant. Here, it's relevant, though.

-Here is Iluvrien's chronological guide to Forgotten Realms novels, updated probably last around 2008 or 2009.

very cool, though a bit difficult to read (I guess they all are in the end). As posted on the YT channel, I'm using:

as my source. When I have some more time I'll check that one out more fully, see if there are any big differences (I would assume overall not).

That was just a preview image posted on the boards (over at Wizards originally) to show progress in the project. I am in the process of rebuilding the list (for publication again) after a hard-drive crash.

The timeline you highlighted, Zenmichael, was the basis (as well as some checking with the books themselves) of my own list. However, rather than taking things on a chapter by chapter basis (as the timeline does) I looked to see what order whole books (and short stories) could be read in to preserve chronological flow, as much as possible, as many people don't read single chapters from 5 or so books at the same time. This is still my goal.
