Hello fellow scribes and well met. I am in quest of searching the I-net link or site to play the D&D. Can you lend me your help and advices?

Are you talking about DDO (D&D Online?) or are you referring to a MUD (Multi User Dungeon), or are you referring to a place to run Play-By-Post style of games. There are many references, so which do you want to use?

Actually I am a noob at this, so I would like to try everything before knowing which to use better.

Well, DDO is an MMORPG: It's graphical, and works like most other MMORPGs, but has the connection that it uses the D&D ruleset.
A MUD is a text-based thing, sometimes with static pictures, where people sign in and narratively play a game.
The MUD will have a great deal of plot and storytelling, and DDO will have faster game mechanics, prettier graphics, and often little to no story. One is storytelling, one is more hack and slash.

You also have a couple other options:
Neverwinter Nights: If you can get ahold of this, and find one of the better servers (there are some listed at the neverwinter connections site and some at nwvault.com), you'll get the RP of the MUD, but with pretty, shiny graphics. It will be much like a graphical version of a D&D campaign. This is my preference.

There is also Neverwinter Nights 2, which was prettier, but far less popular, because when the game was released it was terrible, and they didn't fix most of the big problems until 2 years after release.

Oi, Thanks! Any suggestion about nice modules for NWN 2 with much roleplay, action and people?
