Well, I stick to the description as presented in Ed Greenwood's (sic!) The Drow of the Underdark. As for art, I'm not sure how much these cost but Todd Lockwood is a prime candidate if you look for good drow art, but I would expect that people like this one* would be a good option alongside Todd, i.e. for companies not exactly swimming in gold.
