Hi All
Many of you will likely have noticed that Candlekeep has been unavailable since Tuesday midday (GMT). This was due to the Web Server failing and being unavailable until just now. The server had to be reinstalled from scratch and then configured.
Hopefully the panic is over and things are back to normal(ish)
::fingers crossed, touching wood and hoping not to tempt fate::
There will be a few periods when the server is rebooted over the next couple of days whilst updates take place, however these periods shouldnt last more than 5 minutes at a time.
On behalf of all at Candlekeep, apologies for the inconvenience.... hopefully at least its given you scribes a rest from your studies and a rest from Alaundo's constant.... ::tome hits back of head as Alaundo peers angrily::
Ouch! We also have a site update coming within the next few days.

(grumbling) Damn....just when I was getting a break from the endless dusting the keep is re-opened.....oh! Hey there! Uhm....Yea! The Keep is open!
Ugh. |
My latest Realms-based short story, about a bard, a paladin of Lathander and the letter of the law, Debts Repaid. It takes place before the "shattering" and gives the bard Arion a last gasp before he plunges into the present.http://candlekeep.com/campaign/logs/log-debts.htm |

At last!!! .
I was beginning to feel as though this last refuge of fine Realms discussion had fallen victim to the monstrous Blaster.Worm creature that had been plaguing the ether these last few weeks...

::turns suddenly around to the noise of the Candlekeep gates opening after too many days of wandering around aimlessly in the surrounding environs, lost without his tomes and scrolls::
Phew, at last, I was beginning to worry that all was lost |

Ah, finally, Castle Perilous' myriad corridors have returned . . . .
Oh, oops. Wrong universe . . . .
What? I had to read something during that time! |
Hell hath no fury like all of Candlekeep rising in defense of one of its own.
