Nah. He was merely going to change them to Grey Slaad, but then he pondered how they would merely have a hunger to evolve again, so he decided to save them the time and evolve them to their final form so that they would not feel the need to evolve anymore and could merely enjoy their lives. etc
But then again, White and Black Slaadi are exceedingly rare, especially the final Black. A Black Slaadi's power eclipses that of an ancient dragon of any color, and only 2 are known to have existed. |

| So I just read the samples and it seems I do not remember some people I should, namely Elden, Regg, and Abelar. Who were they? |

They are characters from the Twilight War trilogy, particularly the last book Shadowrealm. |

Thanks. I guess it is time to reread that trilogy |

In the tradition of politicians everywhere, I’ll provide bad news on Friday. From everything I’m seeing/hearing, it looks like Godborn, book one of The Cycle of Night (my next trilogy in the Forgotten Realms) will be released in mid-2012. That’s a long time and I’m sorry about that. I have no explanation for this (I had been led to believe that mid-2011 was the target release date) and with all the recent changes at WotC, I don’t expect to have one for some time. But I wanted to throw up a post since I get a couple emails per week asking about Godborn’s release date. If and when I get more information (or if the 2012 date changes, which is a possibility, I suppose), I’ll let you all know.

Thanks for letting us know...
It will be a long wait for 2012.

Since Paul said there's a possibility that the 2012 release would change, then we can still hope.... |
