Greetings fellow scribes!

Since my campaign may or may not follow a plot line involving the Iron Throne, I was wondering whether anyone might be able to point me to some obscure lore I have missed about them?

It seems scarce enough, and aside from the happenings around Baldurs Gate involving the Bhaalspawn, I only know the events detailed in Power of Faerun, and of course Dabron Sashentars plans as written in the same book, and the Grand History of Faerun.

IS there any more detailed lore at all?

There's several pages on them in Cloak & Dagger.

Many thanks, O Wooly One!

Though I admit I am a bit baffled at this "Tieflings" origins...

Lords of Darkness updates, I think, the info from C&D.

For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

There is also a few additional notes in Grand History of the Realms. Some of it may seem to conflict with Lords of Darkness.

George was nice enough to straighten it out here.

The party come to a town befallen by hysteria

Rogue: So what's in the general store?
DM: What are you looking for?
Rogue: Whatevers in the store.
DM: Like what?
Rogue: Everything.
DM: There is a lot of stuff.
Rogue: Is there a cart outside?
DM: (rolls) Yes.
Rogue: We'll take it all, we may need it for the greater good.

Many thanks again... I should have Lords of Darkness somewhere around as well, though I doubt it is going to surpass Cloak & Dagger... A handy tome, indeed.

I remember a Dragon article about Realmsian demon cults, that spoke of a merchant's cult devoted to Graz'zt in Sembia. As that's the headquarters of the Iron Throne, and they also have fiendish contacts/masters (I always figured the IT as a hidden cult of Dispater, what with the whole iron and weapons link), any ideas on how they might get along?

Just think, a fiend war in Sembia among the merchants...

maybe Mammon is a better option, cause he covers greed

also you could involve the church of Waukeen trying to get even with Graz'zt's cultists

I'm looking for a way to tie the BG1 look on the Iron Throne with the canon one. Any ideas?
