For some of us, books are as important as almost anything else on earth. What a miracle it is that out of these small, flat, rigid squares of paper unfolds world after world, worlds that sing to you, comfort and quiet and excite you... Books are full of the things that you don't get in real life - wonderful, lyrical language, for instance, right off the bat. - Anne Lamott, Bird by Bird

Excellent. It looks like we will have a least 2 Realms features this month. One in Dragon with "regions of the Realms" and then an adventure in Dungeon with " Ruins of Starmantle"
Additionally, I checked out the Druid playtest. Nice. Not sure if I like the Shapechange feature to be at level 1. Always liked it as a class advancement.

Actually, from what I understand, WotC is temporarily allowing all subscribers to see back issues. |

Are you referring to the ones that were originally released during the Free Action phase or, for example, the ones that started when people had to start paying (which would be sort of unfair to those who paid for that/those issue(s)) |

-Being that things are in a digital format, it is in theory possible. Articles pertaining to the Forgotten Realms would need to be taken and combined in a single .PDF file. That it is possible, however, doesn't mean that I think it is going to happen. Though doing such could take about five minutes by someone not that experienced with creating .PDF files, I don't think WotC will do such a thing, believing "the market" to not be worth it (even though costs and effort is pretty minimal, but...) |

It's for the ones released when they first started charging. The ones released prior to subscription releases are still free and available on the site. |
I actually DO know everything. I just have a very poor index of my knowledge.

Adventurers of the Realms: Ancient Magic and Present Threats by Chris Tulach
The regions of the Realms are full of a variety of people with backgrounds as varied as their geography. In this article, we present a number of paragon paths and feats for Realms characters who have selected a regional background.
The Forgotten Realms setting is a vast place, and heroes can emerge from anywhere, rising from their commonplace lives to thwart danger and show remarkable courage. In the Forgotten Realms Player's Guide, a large selection of backgrounds is available for player characters, and each one is tied to a region. These backgrounds give a player inspiration for determining their character's place in the world as well as providing a regional benefit.
