I realized I played too much Baldur's gate (game based on Realms) when I was watching TV. There was a story about a person who died of cancer. I thought: so they must ressurect him! Then I realized what I was thinking.
I spent lots of time searching for jewelry in elven style. Sadly in this town I couldn't find anything. I also want plstic surgery on my ears to make them pointy. After all I wanted to resemble a moon elf.
Once I dreamt about Drizzt and he was quite nice...

Hee-hee! I've done that- dreaming of Drizzt, I mean. Even considered writing a story about that dream. For those who think the 100-year time-jump of post-Spellplague is big, how about an 800-YEAR one, with him stuck in miniaturized stasis in a magic box?!! And then there is the pretty zircon and marcusite spider pendant my hubby bought me for X-Mas this past holiday- because I saw it months ago and have had my eye on it ever since. Reminded me of the amber one Fyodor gave Liriel, lol!!! That and he accuses me of being a Lolthite because I like spiders and won't let him kill them!!! (They also seem to be drawn to me, for some weird reason. I have been known to find tiny arachnids crawling on me for no particular reason, and they never bite me- even brown recluses do not bite me!!)

I was once bitten by a spider long, long time ago. And ever since, whenever I see one, I kill it.

Sacrilege, vile murderer!! Lolth smite thee!!! LOL!!!! JK. Was it even poisonous? sometimes it's hard to distinguish the venomous ones from the harmless ones unless you KNOW what to look for. I only ever kill the recluses, because the hubby's been bitten by them TWICE. And yet I can count a half-dozen times I've had one on me, and never ONCE got bitten. He jokes that I'm in Lolh's favor....

Most probably, since the bite was painful and there was some discoloration in my skin.

Though my dislike for spiders is not as intense as my dislike, or rather my loathing for roaches.

Every beginning has an end.

I'll second that. Though truthfully, a bit of pain and/or discoloration in itself is not always an indicator. Now, if the condition gets much worse (like turning black and boiling up with puss or starting to rot), or if the pain is accompanied by burning, shortness of breath,or other worrisome symptoms- THEN it's time to worry. Just about ANY spider can cause some pain when it bites, much like an ant.
