Aha! Therein lies the problem. Not enough elf and a lack of Manshoon!

I can live without them. They tend to be nausea-inducing. |

*GASP!* Manshoon is awesome!
He's certainly NOT one of these: http://www.wired.com/images_blogs/photos/uncategorized/2008/01/18/zoom.gif
Okay, so maybe he has more plot armor than a spiderman villain, but that's why he's so wuvvable!

Me too. Last night, I dreamed of my PC from Baldur's Gate and Dynaheir. 'Cept the fact Dyna looked weird. Black-golden instead of her normal looks. I wonder what this could mean?
I once dreamed about my drow PC. Some other times, I dreamed of Gorion from Baldur's Gate or the drow city from the second game.
Does that mean I'm weird?

I once dreamed of Telamont and I discussing during dinner how he could best shift his city to earth. |

Dreaming about fantastical things reminds me of this rather fantastical philosophy of dreams:
Sri Nimbarkacharya on Dreams: As some dreams are indicative of future good or bad fortunes, it is impossible for the individual to dream a good or a bad dream according to his own choice, he, being in his present state of bondage, ignorant of the future. The individual soul, in his emancipated state, can certainly exercise his will for the creation of vision in dreams; but the power, in the state of his bondage, remains eclipsed by the superior will of the Universal Soul, who directs his actions according to the merits and demerits of his past conduct; and the suppression of his power is due to his being encaged in the body. |

Refering to the months of the year in Realms references would be to just enough for me. =) |
Session Reports posted at RPG Geek. Stem the Tide Takes place in Mistledale. Dark Curtains - Takes place in the Savage North, starting in Nesmé. I wrapped my campaign into the Hoard of the Dragon Queen, but it takes place in 1372 DR. |

Fantastical dreams tend to be 'crazy.' And that Universal Soul Sri blabbers about is one of the craziest (and ridiculous) things I've ever heard. |

Not "collective consciousness (souls) of all things," but, according to him, a real being. Crazy.
I recall once I dreamt of bashing Galaeron. Must be my consciousness invading the realm of my dreams, for that's exactly what I wanted to do to the demented elf after reading RotA. |

I don't wish to debunk that philosophy. It's just that to me, it sounds crazy---a highly subjective perspective based on innumerable arguable matters I'd rather not delve into right now.
Back on topic: At times I make certain FR-related things the standard of their kind. For instance, sometimes, when I read a non-FR novel whose system of magic did not interest me that much, I wished it should have used the Realms' own system of magic. |

Heh. The other day, I was watching what I thought to be a poorly-scripted Australian fantasy film from the 80's. With names for characters like Bob, Tom, and Andrew, I started quickly referring to them, instead, by Realms character names.

Speaking of 1980's Australian stuff on film (or video, as the case may be) - where in the Realms would the Flying Doctors best fit in? |
There is a rumour going around that I have found god. I think is unlikely because I have enough difficulty finding my keys, and there is empirical evidence that they exist. Terry Pratchett |

Any desert region I suppose, with brief access to locations large enough to host a spelljamming port -- as that's kind of an idea I've had for some time now. A spelljammer-styled airborne medical corps running across Toril and assisting those in remote regions who desperately need the healing powers of a cleric. |

Oh, I remember, in one of our heated meetings that turned a bit personal, I once told my boss, "Your immutably unattractive face is beyond hope. Even the magic of the Zulkir of Enchantment could NOT fix it!" Good thing he could not fire me. Thinking back, I don't think I ever regretted saying it, after all he told me... |
