I know it's not realms related but a monster of RPG has died today. Robin Crossby was the creator of the Harnmaster roleplaying game and the creator of the Harn World. If there was a world that i value as highly as the realms, Harn world would be it. The level of detail and the love that went into creating this world is on par with what ED infused into the realms.
It is a sad day indeed to loose this genius at world creating.

Thanks for your legacy Mr. Crossby.

Too many of the 'creators' have died this year.
I use quite a lot of fan created Harn work in my game as background, the quality of the work puts some 'proper paid for' design work to shame.
Sad days indeed, condolences to Robin's family.

So saith Ed. I've never said he was sane, have I? Gods, all this writing and he's running a constant fantasy version of Coronation Street in his head, too. . shudder, love to all, THO Candlekeep Forum 7 May 2005 |

condolences to his family |
why is being a wizard like being a drow? both are likely to find a dagger in the back from a rival or one looking to further his own goals, fame and power

I'm know absolutely nothinbg about the Harn setting, but it is always a shame when anyone dies.
I find it strangely... poetic... that all the 'great masters' have 'moved on' now that 4e has arrived to change everything. Its like a 'changing of the gaurd', so to speak.
Now that he is gone, I suppose it's high time I look into Harn and see what all the fuss is about.
