In the Menzoberanzan boxed set (Book 2: The Houses p30), the potion used by the Priestesses of house Faen Tlabbar is detailed but ambiguous in some respects.
Its effects on non-Drow are described as changing the physical image to some extent but also says ". . . but all other characteristics became like a Dark Elf." Is the word 'characteristics' used loosely here in terms of physical appearance, or does it also refer to such things as; dark vision, spell-like abilities, spell resistance and characteristic score?
If yes, is it a full transformation or only some Drow characteristics? Or should there be a percentage chance assigned to aquiring each of the Drow characteristics? Also it is implied that the change is permanent, though the potion in its love potion form works for one year.
Could anyone help with these points?
