Big Buns Bessie was born on a farm (profession farmer, country born). She was more interested in boys than her duties, however (charming trait, knowledge local to know all the bars where the men/women ratio is high). Soon she mastered the art of dancing in places with loud music, applying make-up expertly even while being bounced on the backseat of a rickety cart, and how to approach men of all shape, sizes and station (skill mastery perform dancing, disguise and diplomacy, she can take ten with all of them even in stressful situations). Her candid nature attracts men (persuasive and/or bluff to appear naive or innocent or easy), and she can size them up in a second from across a dance floor... err.. taproom (appraise, sense motive, perception). She has an uncanny ability with tongue, and she knows the right "keywords" in all the languages of her most likely targets (linguistics). When the hour is late and the pickings have been slim, she can size up the most inebriated man within two heartbeats. When all else fails, she has mastered the art of knocking stubborn men unconscious (surprise attacks, combat reflexes, weapon focus unarmed strike, weapon specialization unarmed strike, improved unarmed strike, stunning fist, sneak attack, step up). Once the deed is underway, she makes sure she gets what she wants, and as long as she wants it (toughness, resilient, improved grapple, greater grapple, stand still). She cannot be flanked (improved uncanny dodge) but she usually ignore this ability in the presence of two men (charming trait).

I think that the duration would be determined by her partner, not her.

Nope. Regardless of her partner's capacity, the above listed feats will ensure SHE sets the duration. Talk to men who have had the (bad) luck to find themselves in bed with a female pro wrestler!

Man: "Bess, oh... Bess! I think I'm..."
BBB: "Oh no you ain't!!!" [twist man's right nipple 360 degrees]
Man: "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRGGGG!"
BBB: "Oh... John... that's good... that's good.. keep it up!"

I must say its pretty good.

The 'Flesh Golem' had a Frankenstein feel to it.

Vampire, Mummies, Gargoyles, Hags, Derro, Ghouls, Werewolves, The Walking Dead, and Ghosts oh my!

The Pathfinder Chronicals series is becoming my favorite RPG FIX.

I love the little short story or 'blurb' by a person in Golarion at the start of a chapter or section that really brings Golarion to life. This series is really starting to reminde me of the old 2E Forgotten Realms books.

I guess its refreshing to see, instead of just stat-blocks with no real fluff.

However, this paltry book obviously cannot measure up to the tome of OUR glorious nation, Cheliax!

Yes WOW!

This is the best Chronical by far.

I am speachless.

I may just buy another one just to have two of them.

Elaine even did a write up.

Subscribers just got the PDF of the new Kingmaker Adventure-Path, The Stolen Land. Little tidbit: Ed Greenwood created one of the six monsters of this month's volume's bestiary, and every month he will contribute one more. This month: the thawn.

And there's a carbuncle, too.

And there's a carbuncle, too.

I'm tempted to dive into Golarion but note that there is a revised Campaign Setting Book due out later this year. Is there any point in me buying the old one or should I wait for the new one to come out? I have the Pathfinder Core Rulebook.

Straight from James Jacobs' mouth:

This one will not obsolete the first printing; it'll expand on it. In some cases, material in the first printing might not appear in this new version, or might be less detailed... but my goal in preparing this book is to add and expand, not overwrite.

It will advance the timeline by a couple of years, but won't assume any of the modules or Adventure Paths have taken place. You'll still be able to use this book as your campaign book to start, say, Rise of the Runelords or Curse of the Crimson Throne.

I would likely wait. Its a revision with new material

I would get some of the chronicle books though like Gods&Magic, River Kingdoms, Darkmoon Vale and the Revisited Books in the mean time

Subscribers got their PDfs of Kingmaker part 2. Ed's monster of the month: the Rorkoun, a huge aquatic aberrattion.

I had to cancel my subscriptions for now.

I don't like the cover for Kingmaker 2, but have you seen the next one, inspires that sword and sorcery feel.

The novels have been rescheduled: Instead of in September, the first one by Dave Gross will appear in August, and Elaine's will appear in Oktober.

So has anyone allowed or tried to use the rules from the Tome of Battle into the Pathfinder/Golarion setting?

I ask only because I'd like my rogue/swashbuckler to have a bit more diversity as to fighting and I wondered who else added ToB content to their games.

Also, I'm thinking of taking levels in Shadodancer and wanted to use the Telflammar Shadowlord PrC from Unapproachable East. The DM might allow me to gain the Shadow-walker template from the church of Achaekek (and the organization of the Red Mantis Assassins) so I was wondering if you guys would think the Red Mantis's would allow Shadowlords/shadowdancers in their organization?
