If it's unanswered, it's "a hint." One almost always (I'd say always but there are always exceptions) pronounces our initial "h," so you'd want "a."
Considering French pronunciation rules, I understand why you asked. You're welcome to continue to ask. |

I still don't have tomes, but I fell asleep thinking about this one. Without tomes to verify, I'll wait to verify I'm correct before posting a new question.
I say Elminster took out of the vault his "friendship" with the Srinshee. It's got to be in Elminster in Myth Drannor. No page number reference as I'm without tomes.
Yes? No? |

Indeed, this one was not answered yet. So, thanks a lot for answering and explaining monknwildcat. You're totally right about the reason of my question ! |

I think I have this one. I'm answering since Sian did the red dragon question.
ANSWER: Rilmohx ShaQuessir, a gnome elf-friend, helped steal one set of the Nether Scrolls for the Fair Folk of Cormanthyr in -3095. (LEoF p97)
I don't know how to bold, so I'm gonna all-caps my question:
WHICH DEITY SERVES AS THE PATRON OF THE MONASTERY OF THE YELLOW ROSE OVERLOOKING THE GLACIER OF THE WHITE WORM?
Please do not take offense at the all-caps.
Fillow: Are we supposed to give references when we answer? For example, where did you find your answer? |

It makes it easier for other people to find the same info and read more about it if a reference is given. |

To 'embolden' your type, hit the little 'B' button in the upper left corner where it says 'Format'.

Technically? The 'god' Dionysius, who in the Realms is merely a Saint of Ilmater.
Although that was a retcon from before the Bloodstone Lands got added to FR (he was in fact originally a full-fledged god) - but the lore concerning the Monastery of the Yellow Rose is from after the retcon, I think, so Ilmater would indeed be the god of choice for those Monks. IF I am correct, here is my...

Ilmater?
If I got that right, someone else can ask a question on my behalf, because I can't think of any good obscure questions right now.
EDIT: Looks like Markus beat me to the punch. BUT I still knew the answer! |

No takers for my question, as of yet?
Hint - she has an 'unusual' ferret, and lives at a famous 'site'.

I'm still amazed that there were so many possible answers to the Monastery of the Yellow Rose question. No wonder retcon's a four-letter word... |

She's a druid turned necromancer, living at the Battle of Bones site, and her ferret Fez is a zombie. Pages 1 and 2 of Elminster's Ecologies, Appendix I. |

Hmmm, no takers yet... Well, then, here's a clue. And it's not as obscure a clue as it may seem.
Clue: The person seeking sanctuary was one of many. |

Sorry, odessit, but only one question at a time. And the person who correctly answers the last question gets to ask the next one. The rest of the rules are on the first page of this thread. |
