Well, this is it, folks. I'm hoping to finally finish the Throne of Bhaal expansion for Baldur's Gate II after a little over 20 years. I almost managed it with the original version back in the day, but life happened and I ran out of time (and interest) for it.
In the following decades, I have grown so much strategically with this game that it seems like a borderline cakewalk. I run into the occasional tough opponent, but I also easily rethink and re-strategize to get the upper hand. Also, this time around with Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition, I managed to do something I never did in Shadows of Amn. I BEAT KANGAXX!!
As of this post, I have just started Sendai's Enclave. The encounter with the drow prior to entering was like throwing branches in a wood chipper. Quick and concise yet brutal. All buffed and intricately placed, my team (my Cavalier, Minsc, Sarevok, Anomen, Imoen and my character's romance Aerie) chopped up the Drow Mage in seconds, followed by the 'woodcutter' and his cronies in rapid succession. The Myconids inside the entrance of the enclave faired no better. This should be done in a jiffy, just you wait. Stay tuned!

I just finished replaying BG1 and 2 myself (about a week ago). I don't remember ever playing Throne of Bhaal back in the day, so I think that was all new or I completely forgot the entire game. Still fun games. |

Ah, Mr. Costa! Fancy seeing you responding to such a topic of mine.
I was curious: What character did you play in those games, and who were your parties for BG1, Siege of Dragonspear (if you played it) and BG2?
My BG1EE party was the 'Canon Party' (Imoen, Khalid, Jaheira, Minsc and Dynaheir), with the same party by the time Khalid returned (but with Glint Gardnersonson in place of Imoen for plot reasons) in SoD. BG2: SoA was my ToB party but with Jaheira (obviously) instead of Sarevok except for when she was absent during parts of her personal quest and replaced by other characters for the quests they were involved with. |

I played dwarf fighter (berserker) as my main character and my companions were Jaheira, Khalid/Captain Corwin, Dynahaier, Minsc, and Imoen for BG1 EE and Jaheira, Aerie, Anomen Delryn, Jan Jansen, and Keldorn Firecam for BG2 EE. For BG2, I pretty much planned out who I was going to get and keep from the get go. I thought about keeping Minsc in BG2, but he was too redundant with my own character and I didn't like the delay in being able to get Imoen back so I didn't get her.
That said, I was pretty much a completist for both games, doing nearly every sidequest I could, absent a few that were dedicated to specific characters I didn't have or evil quests. |

The good news? Sendai is down, so on to Abazigal.
The bad news? Aerie's romance has triggered beyond the pregnancy announcement (which my character expressed how excited/happy he was). Don't know if it's a bug or not, but I remember by now, I would have had one or two more dialogues for such. |

IIRC, Throne of Bhaal Aerie romance (and others) were notoriously buggy. Join this Forum, http://www.ironworksforum.com/forum/index.php , and post your questions in the appropriate sub-forum. They have a wealth of info. |

You can also just post a question like this "Throne of Bhaal romance bugs", on the Web, and you'll get PLENTY of leads. |

In general, the answer is something like C:SetGLOBAL("AerieRomanceActive","GLOBAL",1) (just in case it was broken by her dying at some point for instance) C:SetGlobal("AerieRomance","Global",1) not being in a dungeon or in the middle of a battle and going to sleep often helps (although some lovetalks trigger at the end of a battle, but I don't think that's the case for Aerie).
