Widow Elsa is a Herbalist and Healer at White Horse Ford. She can often be found around the vacinity of Theman's Caravan Repairs.
Her home always smells like drying and steeping herbs. She grows many herbs by her house, but will travel into the woods with some of the woodsmen to gather others. Sometimes, she travels to Felleran-krae to purchase the more rare and exotic herbs, or from peddlers that travel through to village.
Appearance
Widow Elsa is just edging into her mid thirties and is a strong handsome woman. Her hair is still a long chestnut brown. She has maintained her slender figure and is a diminutive 5'1” tall.
Personality
Elsa is very strong willed. Everyone in town jumps to obey when she barks an order. She is a very fast thinker and talker. She has an infectious laugh, and a penetrating voice. She enjoys quiet conversations with Theman and Aldri.
She still mourns her lost husband and every year she goes to the stump of the tree that killed him and prays to Ilmater to take care of her husband until she can join him again.
Background
Born in Enrae's Crossing, she moved with her husband to a wonderful farm in White Horse Ford. Her husband was crushed by a falling tree while clearing some more field for farming. After spending two years fending on suitors who wanted to ‘take care of her' she travelled to Felleran-krae where she purchased a book about healing and herbs. She studied and practiced for a year under a kind tutor, Edmund Fillary, and returned to her farmhouse to become the local healer.
