Racial and Class Abilities

Bow bonus - +1 bonus to attack rolls with long or short bows.
Infravision - 60' infravision range.
Resistance 90% - 90 percent resistant to sleep and charm-related spells.
Secret doors - Because of their acute senses, elves are quick to spot concealed doors and hidden entranceways. Merely passing within 10' of a concealed door allows an elf a one-in-six chance (a 1 on 1d6) to notice it. If actively searching, an elf's chances improve to a two-in-six chance (1 or 2 on 1d6) to find secret doors, and a three-in-six chance (1, 2, or 3 on 1d6) to notice a concealed door.
Stealth - When the elf is alone and is not wearing metal armor, he gains a bonus to surprise opponents. The opponent suffers a -4 penalty, a -2 if the elf has to open a door.
Sword bonus - +1 bonus to attack rolls when using a long or short sword.

Character Description and History

Thalassia didn't really have a life till 27 Kythorn 1368. That day, after completing a quest to cure her friends from the curse of lycanthropy, Ama the ranger disappeared from a cave in Kara-Tur and apparently ceased to exist; in her stead a mysterious full elf with new abilities and all of Ama's memories appeared at the group's base in Dagger Falls.

This fact upset the company quite badly (Thalassia included), the two clerics in particular tried every possible spell to determine the truth of the matter, to no avail.
Brandimarte was the only one to be certain: Ama's secret recipe for boar roast was known to Thalassia too.

At last Raidaril proposed a trip to Evermeet, petitioning the intervention of the mages of the Twin Towers to exclude the influence of black magic or worse. It was found that Thalassia and Ama are indeed the same being, though is suspected that her true form may be something completely different.

On Evermeet the new mage/thief attracted the attention of a visiting spellfilcher guildmaster who determined her sensitivity to magic. She is kept under scrutiny pending recruitment and training.

See Thalassia in the Danger at Dagger Falls painting by Tiziano Barrachi. (Second from left).
