Bow bonus - +1 bonus to attack rolls with long or short bows.
Infravision - 60' infravision range.
Resistance 90% - 90 percent resistant to sleep and charm-related spells.
Secret doors - Because of their acute senses, elves are quick to spot concealed doors and hidden entranceways. Merely passing within 10' of a concealed door allows an elf a one-in-six chance (a 1 on 1d6) to notice it. If actively searching, an elf's chances improve to a two-in-six chance (1 or 2 on 1d6) to find secret doors, and a three-in-six chance (1, 2, or 3 on 1d6) to notice a concealed door.
Stealth - When the elf is alone and is not wearing metal armor, he gains a bonus to surprise opponents. The opponent suffers a -4 penalty, a -2 if the elf has to open a door.
Sword bonus - +1 bonus to attack rolls when using a long or short sword.

Character Description and History

Magnus is always after one thing: power. He has fought, bitten, and clawed his way to his current level by out-thinking some of the biggest names in the Realms. He cares for the other Riders of the Elvenflow mostly because leading the group is a great ego boost. He will defend them to the death, maybe, (He is chaotic!) and then browbeat them when the fight is done. His only true loves are himself, and Ambrosia.

Magnus was born Kaa'bari Salta'res, the son of a member of the Elvish court. His father had remained behind; living outside of Arabel in Cormyr, to keep the elves informed as to what the humans were doing to the Elven Woods. Magnus was always mischievous, and his father apprenticed him to a mage as soon as he was old enough to keep him out of trouble.

Magnus decided he was smarter than his master was, and attempted to prove it. As a result, his master's laboratory blew up, and Magnus's father severely punished him. Angered by his punishment, Magnus pretended to repent then stole some Fireball scrolls. One night he blew up his house, killing everyone in it, and went out on his own. He was soon attacked by a pack of wolves and forced to defend himself with a puny dagger. A young paladin, Cassius Vaughn, happened by and saved him. They decided to remain together for mutual protection, and soon encountered four other young adventurers. They grouped together as the Company of the Iron Circle. They were soon kidnapped by an evil group and branded to do their bidding. In the attempt to destroy their tormenters, they liberated the town of Hap from an evil mage. Magnus, who by now had managed to declare himself the leader of the group, decided that the party should rule the town. He renamed the town Elven Flow (Hap was stupid, he thought), and the party The Riders of Elven Flow. He encouraged the party to swell to the ridiculous number of 17, and has used them to turn Elven Flow into a powerful presence in the heartlands of the Realms.

Magnus has undergone many changes since he was created (he sure didn't start with those scores!). The most visible is a pair of wings that have been permanently grafted onto his back. His bones have also been made hollow, like a bird, giving him a flight speed of 40, MC B.

*Magnus also has many unique spells that he has created over the years. They include Magnus's Mind Meld, Magnus's Damage Absorption, Magnus's Molecular Maneuvering, Magnus's Manacles, Magnus's Partial Teleport, Magnus's Familiar Protection, and Magnus's Improved Telekinesis. (For details, just E-Mail me).
*Magnus received a 5% Magic Resistance during one of his adventures.
Magnus always tries to keep the best magic items for himself. He currently possesses a Girdle of Trollmoors (so he can regenerate), and a Rod of Xavier, which he made himself (Again, E-Mail me for details). He has lots of other crap, but nothing real exciting.
Despite being so high in level (and yes, I actually did earn all of those), Magnus has only died once. Early in his career he was killed by.... giant crocodiles. He has ever since HATED reptiles, especially crocodiles, with a passion.
